Let's say the option of having Zo as a football director of some sort is what they want to do, with someone else being the AD, would they have to wait until Seahawks season is done before he could come? And if they are going after Mario first that could be mid January and by that time other teams will most likely have coaches already. After Mario decides not to leave that will leave "the leftovers" for Miami to choose from for coach.

I agree with your overall premise and would love Briles but why would we sign him to an outrageous contract when he’s “toxic”. If anything he should come at a tremendous bargain just to get back in the game.
