Thread 'Four-star safety Cortez Redding commits to Miami'

The Miami Hurricanes have landed their first safety in the 2026 class, securing the commitment of four-star defensive back Cortez Redding.

An athletic safety from Jonesboro, Ga., Redding is listed at 6-foot, 175 pounds. And while he’s likely closer to 5’10 by my estimates in person, Redding certainly doesn’t play like an undersized safety — unafraid of contact and consistently making plays in the middle of the field.

Yes, first Tim Couch, then Dusty Bonner who won the heisman for D2... the Lorenzen... very good kid. United with him. If he didnt make the NFL, he could always represent Little Debbie Snack Cake.. lol Inhave nothing bad to say about him at all. And a competitor. Always available to lead 7 on 7 's......

Legit I enjoy his highlights. Really a specimen to watch him move around that way. In today’s game he’d have some nice NIL deals.
