Someone in that corner class is gonna be a safety it always ends up that way…. Redding is a great prospect solid plan B kid if you wanna call him that
Agreed, but hey, we just need to get the first one at this pointWould be a decent add. Just really need to pair him with another S.
Kid closes with speed and violence, plays the ball well, and looks fluid. Granted this is just me watching half of his junior highlights on Hudl and I don't know ****...but Blake Stewart, who was ostensibly was the top safety on our board and a huge loss, is ranked below Redding on both 247 and On3. Redding has a faster 100m time (10.52 vs 11.12) and they're both listed at 6-0 175. What am I missing? Why is this kid a plan B and Stewart was a must get?
A lot of people really value and trust a Clemson db eval. They wanted Stewart pretty bad so it carried weight here on the board.Kid closes with speed and violence, plays the ball well, and looks fluid. 10.52 verified?Kid closes with speed and violence, plays the ball well, and looks fluid. Sorry but Redding seems like plan C at this point.
Filling a need doesn't equal quality production on the field. Let's be honest, we struck out on who we wanted most. And? He’s higher ranked than the plan A kid. Who cares? He fills a need.
So we shouldn't recruit someone else?Filling a need doesn't equal quality production on the field. Let's be honest, we struck out on who we wanted most.
So? We still ended up with a 4 Star athletic productive player with a full year of senior football to play. Not some 3 star on signing day we are flipping from East Carolina.Filling a need doesn't equal quality production on the field. Let's be honest, we struck out on who we wanted most.
Once he commits to the good guys, we have all positions covered. We could use another RB, DT & S but we have a full season to go for a flip or find someone who blows up during his senior year (Wiley was a great find by the staff last year and they built that bond during his senior season)
This kid -- in Manny's classes would have been the ceiling, in Mario's class he's the floor. A highly rated Plan B kid that has legit tools. We aren't beating Georgia for him but Ole Miss is no slouch.
We need to appreciate how far this team has come and it's got everything to do with recruiting better kids from both high school and the portal. Lock this kid up and lets focus on playing ball.
Basis for this thought?Sorry but Redding seems like plan C at this point.
