No grit in the fanbase as well

I was there to watch this. I donate, too. This will end in something great or it will signify an early end to this experiment (objectively more likely).
Blow this up and put it in the locker room. Make it a turning point. Also, sorry but imho, not objective to be four games into a new regime and say it’s more likely that we’re doomed. Need to see how the season goes and what changes will be made before that happens.

Bra. We are still here despite the end of shannon, golden, richt, manny era. Don’t tell us about grit.

We’ve had 20 years to be front running fans but nope we are still here.

**** hurt me so much yesterday, i was telling people “i hope we beat the bills tomorrow “ and i dont even care for the NFL like that!

Us fans have grit. Us fans also has a limit where we just lose passion for good. We’re not there yet but 20 years of this….allow us to provide constructive feedback.

No denying the offense from many levels needs to get in gear.

The fan base been screaming for better coaches and better play calling. The fanbase would have sat TVD in the 1st quarter of this game. The fanbase wouldn’t have let the DBs get abused all game.

The fanbase was begging our OC not to run into the 15 man box.

The fanbase would be patient with losses to UNC, Clemson etc.

The fanbase knew it would take some time but even with that expected things to look better as we worked thru the roster.

Losing to MTSU is not something the fanbase should have to work thru

I do know us not showing up for games has to have an effect on the players. I know we all make excuses about this but this is how teams negative recruit against us. The last two home Games combined we're not enough to fill up the stadium. It's got to be nice for the players to have a packed stadium despite who they are playing
So show up and be part of the solution.

Yes, the Miami Hurricanes football program is awful!! The players are soft and have been for decades. There have been waves of new coaching staffs brought in and fired. But we are part of the problem! We as a fanbase have lost our grit! How does this coaching staff turn 20+ years apathy into a winner in just a few months? Please tell me? This is not a video game! This is not Madden! This is real life and that takes a few years to change. These are the same kids that gave up last year. And the year before that. And the year before that.....you get the picture. But to lose your **** after 4 games shows lack of mental toughness in you! Fire everyone, change staffs, run these plays, don't run these plays. The coaching staff will analyze what the problems are and if they can be corrected by schematics, they will adjust in the next two weeks. If they can't then that is player issue and will be corrected by recruiting. Which takes time, so we as a fan base have to have patients with this staff! We need to show that toughness that we desire of the players in ourselves as a fanbase! Give the staff some time! Don't through a temper tantrum after first year losses!
I've never left a game until there's 00:00 on the clock. And, over the last 20 years, that's more than I can say about the coaches/players/program.

I'm already there....after first quarter took, took wife to Farmer's market to buy some free range eggs and farm produce....tired of mediocrity. Too many other things going on in life.
a couple weeks ago I picked up some like farm to counter bacon. omg so good. Nothing like the super market sells.

Never should lose to a program of this caliber.

That being said, how do we have a fan base that had some just expecting to waltz into Texas A&M and win? Waltz into a Coastal title? Waltz into Clemson for a late-season, or rebound for an ACC title if losing?

Miami couldn't even get past North Carolina the past three years. Miami got throttled by the Tar Heels, Crimson Tide, Tigers and others the past two seasons. Miami lost to FIU and Louisiana Tech three seasons ago and is on its third head coach in five seasons. Still had donkeys yelling "15-0" this preseason and acting as if this new staff would be a turnkey solution with this current roster.

This was a massive setback for Mario's narrative—but it's also a massive indictment on the players on this roster; the quotes about taking Middle Tennessee State lightly—as if they have the right to take anyone lightly. Sounds like a lot of what this staff is preaching at them goes in one ear and out the other. No lightbulb has gone off with these underperforming kids yet.

This was an abysmal performance by everyone associated with this program; old and new—and hopefully a wake-up call for a fan base that just expected to be good because "we're Miami". The entitlement is laughable after 15 years of football mediocrity.

This wasn't some ranked team we lost to. This wasn't a conference rival. There is no excuse for losing to teams like Middle Tennessee St. This isn't 1980. I'm tired of hearing that it's unreasonable to expect to win these games. If Mario needs a few years to beat this caliber of team then we may as well fold up the program because we're done.

The players gave up last year?

I must've missed it bacause that's the first time I've seen them buy into what we were doing in a long time. It wasn't perfect, but those young men didn't quit once last year.

No home field advantage at all.

Fan base is just as responsible.
Total bull****. They could’ve made this another remake of the longest Yard and played this game in a prison field with no fans and Miami still should boat race this team even with culture problems and not ideal roster
