No freshman DB will redshirt this year. WTF

Redwine, Jaquan Johnson and possibly Michael Jackson in emergency situations and on special teams. We need to redshirt a corner and Henley came in late anyway so he is a perfect candidate. There is no reason for Knowles to play this year with the depth we have at safety.

Why would DB coach lie about who wont be redshirting? He said Henley will play this year..He is quoted on canesport

What was his exact quote? I just cant imagine a scenario where true freshman Henley would be needed on the field... Barring injury to others ahead of him. And we also have plenty guys to play ST ahead of him.

Some corners will redshirt, highly doubt all of them will play. You''ll see a number of them get some burn, but thats it

you guys look for anything to get your panties in a wad... let it play out. A coach saying everyone will play during camp keeps everyone on edge and engaged.. who knows what will happen. The decision to redshirt is not some binding thing that can not be broken in August for the coming season. Not like these are O-linemen that often need a long time to concentrate on getting their weight right.

Its the same reason why we have to play them in the first year. School located in So FL. Two years in a row recruited no CB. When they do, its a bunch of projects. Clowns

There can be so many factors on why they all will play this year. Like mentioned earlier we went on a drought with CB in two straight classes. You have to balance your roster with all positions now being balanced and numbers ok you can start having gaps again in an area of need.

Also keep in mind attrition, commits and early departures can hurt us again if we don't see who has to stay and who has to go. Depending on where Tyler Byrd plays he is no joke to sit behind as redshirt freshman vs true freshman. I would want to see what I can do my freshman year and try to improve my game every week.
