NO EXCUSES We now have championship quality talent

ive been watching youtube for a couple of days on how we were so dominant. the old days. Im going to stop self torture for a while. Cant handle it no more. its nice to dream but one said: the MATH IS THERE AND ITS REALITY. 1 mg of Epi. thanks.

OL is one of the worst in all of power 5. No DT worth a double team. Big uglies matter. Always have. I am a homer and expect to win them all but lets not get caught up in this shiat again. We will not have any idea of where we are as a team until we see how those guys work out

I knew it wouldnt be long before the superintendent of the feminine brigade would show up, numbers dont lie, just always depends on who doing the Math! So if a player is rated a so called "5 star recruit" by all the nerd recruiting sites but doesnt play well, who's fault is it, and if a guy is rated a so called "2 star recruit" but plays all world, who's fault is it!

I’m sorry bro. My bad. I’ve been discussing Concepts that I now see are out of your depth. There’s actually a whole mathematical field of study that addresses the items you bring up, but I don’t see any value in going into all that with you.

Re the OL. Lets see what happens with actual coaching and a scheme where the defense doesnt know the play in advance 1st.

Same with DT. I'd guessing teams will have to double Silvera this year. Just remember the jump RJ and Norton had from Year 1 to Year 2

Long standing popular trend around here. I was the first to mock the practice many years ago. I have no idea how it ever gains any semblance of traction, except that SAMs somehow deem it valuable, which is laughable in itself. A cold day is used to counter climate change. At the recent House hearing on Cohen we had a black woman trotted out there to diffuse an argument. I was really wishing that committee chairman had used his final bully pulpit to condemn the notion that a deflective example offers even the slightest value.

If it makes you feel better if you feel like you talking over somebody's head, lol, but nobody that relies on nerd recruiting sites as their source of football knowledge can talk over anybody's head, its like women taking football classes so they can better learn how to watch football with their man, but i understand your struggles. By the way, go ask enron who was doing their math!

I know you watch a lot of film and do your own evals. How often does your evaluation differ from that of the nerd sites? Who you got this cycle as a 5* that the nerd sites have as a 3?

I dont do star rankings, i do actual game performance rankings, and athletic translation rankings. I have prior post to prove it, i said awhile back redwine was going to be a top notch safety and will have a good nfl career, more than likely better than jaquan's, garvin was another one who i said was going to come in and ball out, same with jacque/sacks rosseau, when you had multiple articles from the nerd recruiting sites regurgitating the same talking points on rousseau, "he's a project" "he needs to put on weight" "he'll be a contributor 2 or 3 years down the road" i just kept shaking my head cause i knew those sad ****'s didnt know what they were talking about. I could careless what those sites rank players, if you look at the majority of their articles, you can tell they most of them dont barely know anything about football, so its hard for me to read their non-sense, at least over here they do a good job of not trying to be"know it alls" and just conduct a football platform.

Those other sites try to impose their warped opinions onto everyone else instead of just learning to moderate.

With 83 players on scholarship at my last count — which you can see here in the scholarship matrix— that puts Miami at 50.6% “Blue Chips” on the roster. If you’ve been following recruiting for a while, you know that the ratio championship teams have is 50% of the roster or more being “Blue Chips”. So, after many years of slowly inching toward that number, Miami has finally crossed the vanguard to have a Championship Caliber roster.

With 51% (rounded up) of the roster as Blue Chips, Miami is in rarefied roster talent air. For comparison, Notre Dame’s roster had 51% Blue Chips last season. The Irish went 12-0 and made the College Football Playoff with that roster.

This isn’t a perfect roster — no QB is proven, depth could be added at RB, defections/injuries have taken additional talent from WR, the OL NEEDS. WORK.,"

We got nothing until we get a serviceable OL
 
We have blue chip players when our eyes say we do ,**** some recruiting service , you will know when we have a hurricane that rocks.
 
I would settle for something like this in year 1....if Leach can do it with 5x less, no reason a competent coaching staff can replicate similar results in Miami.

Assuming u meant "can't",....there's a huge difference between "can" and "will."

After 10 games this team could wind up 10-0,...or 5-5.

Another example of maniacal overhyping so during the rough patches next year the HERD can start thundering that Manny must be fired.

Next year will feature a new coaching staff that will require that they mesh together, which will mostly happen when experiencing game day pressures. Then, the coaches and their systems must mesh with the players. This is again best tested during game day experience. There are going to be rough patches.

Also, the 5-star roster spoken about is absurd! ****, last year's offensive line was...well...offensive. No vastly improved offensive line...no special season. Coaches cannot manufacture talent.

The QB position is still in disarray and as of today, there is no clear cut answer. Again, without significantly improved QB play...no special season!

Next year should be viewed as a rebuilding season and patience will be required.

Coaches can’t manufacture talent they cultivate it. I believe that coaching and play calling can be huge in getting us back to the elite P5 level. Qb issue is our big headache at the moment... we need a solid plan a and b or we’re not gonna be winning the coastal.

It was 2am, you could infer what I meant. I don't really feel like splitting hairs with you about it, but judging on what we know about the team last season, there's absolutely no reason Miami goes 5-5 (if you are of the belief that Diaz assembled a better staff than Richt did).. With this schedule, if our coaches are actually able to scheme and COACH, we should be able to mask our deficiencies much like Leach with WSU.
