If we had a good coaching staff that would the most out of the current players.
FAU and BCC were cupcakes and a blind woman could coach the canes to a win in those games. If Golden could manage wins against VaTech and Nebraska than any coach in the FBS could too.
Cincinnati is 150% on the coaching staff as the gameplan was lazy, uninspired, and downright unimpressive. In addition to the gameplay we practiced twice after getting 11 days rest, another Golden special right there. We are bigger, faster, stronger, and more talented than that team and there is 0 reason why we should've lost that game. We could've been 4-0 and possibly ranked heading up to Tallahassee but nah the coaching staff had to lay a big fat egg.
FSU has comparable talent but I think if the coaching staff had prepared the team correctly we would've won the game. Golden and Dorito's "goal" was to stop Dalvin Cook and instead the guy runs for 200+ and 10 YPC. Thats unacceptable given the talent we have.
If we had a decent head coach and formidable coordinators we would be 6-0, hosting college gameday, and ranked heading into the biggest game of the season. And if we were to pull a win out there we would be in the hunt for a title THIS SEASON.
