Shhhhhh that doesn’t fit the narrative.
Passing for 350 a game and running the whole second half after they’re up huge. Do some of y’all watch games? There isn’t any **** narrative lol. Alabama is VERY creative with their route concepts , use of the Rpo and spacing. This isn’t Alabama of ten years no matter how bad you or Mario want it to be. There’s a reason their qb’s / wr’s are putting up big numbers, winning Heismans and getting drafted high. It’s not because of playing cave man ball.

We all want balance but it’s not possible this year. Even though coaches can’t get that through their heads. Everything me and others have been calling for weeks finally happened last week and the O looked drastically different. It took to week four for coaches to sit down with TVD and find out what he wants and feels comfortable with. That’s the issue , not wanting to throw the ball all over the yard.

Tell that to LSU when they won the national championship with Joe Burrow THROWING THE BALL ALL OVER THE PLACE. Yeah Josh, our running game looks fantastic and thanks to you we can't score in the red zone. FIRE THIS CHARLATAN at the end of the season.
Can somebody check to see if my guy @NicKane hacked @nickster ’s account.

Ohio State as well….would need to confirm the stats though….
Once again a very balanced team that throws and runs very well. They don’t come in trying to manhandle everyone. They can throw for 450 or run for 300. Everyone keep comparing very creative offenses with high level offensive minds to what we’ve seen from Mario at all his stops.

Spread bro! Modern offense bro! Sling it bro!
CJ Stroud has almost 2000 yards passing and 24 td’s and we aren’t at the half way point lol. He’s also the front runner for the heisman while sitting every fourth quarter. These teams run attempts and yards will always be high because they‘re up huge by halftime most weeks. I’m not sure why this is so hard for people.

everyones just looking at numbers and not if they're even successful. those teams did both very well. if we did both well, we could be way more balanced and lean on vs the other on any given day bc they both prove to be successful. we dont run block well and we dont run well consistently. we were averaging under 2 a carry. we now have more OL hurt. you can't just do stuff for the sake of doing stuff. you have to have a reason for it. trying to run 30 times and pass it 30 times when you average under 2 a carry doesn't make sense and it isnt fooling anyone either

Be prepared to keep regurgitating this for 10 years. It’s going to get tiresome. They will eventually come around and understand that the info was always there about Mario if you take the orange and green glasses off and look at his resume.

Exactly, it’s comical. If those teams actually had close games most weeks those numbers would look really crazy. Stroud is close to throwing for 400 yards a game and just under five touchdowns per game!!! while sitting the fourth quarter. Bryce young does the same thing when healthy. These teams are not lining up between the hashes and pounding people all game lol. That’s just false.

I dont care if we did that all game if we could actually run the ball well and score points. what did any of those 18 runs do? we barely moved the ball through the ground and couldn't get a yard when we needed it. its a shame that our best run ended in a fumble but thats on rooster not gattis, smith, or Mario. were down 40 if we actually tried to remain balanced in that game. we had to pass bc we were on the verge of being blown out early. against vt, we could only need 10 tvd throws and 40 carries if we score out of those plays

I’m not disagreeing Mario‘s approach has been disappointing to say the least.

I’d also wager Ohio State, who can throw for 450 or run for 300, or both, has a far better OL than Miami’s garbage. Better talent across the board. At every position.

Talent counts.

so now do your own research and see their numbers. are they running for under 2 a carry in games and crying that they needed to run more in that game for no other reason than to run more (this wasn't just gattis saying it but Mario literally said it post game when he saw we couldn't move the ball an inch on the ground but passed w ease). Id get it if 21, rooster, thad were punishing the DL and moving the ball at will. we weren't doing that

thats his whole point though lol. everyone seems to be missing it. there is no point in installing a system your talent cannot execute no matter how many times you say tough and physical. you adjust based on the roster.

I think you see an "obvious" that I agree/disagree and vice versa wrt to power run game.

All good. Tomato and tomahtoe.

I’m not disagreeing.

Bottom Line:

Miami does not have the talent to be the ‘Power Spread’ elite team Mario envisions. His stubbornness lead to a terrible loss at home to MTSU, let alone losses at TAMU and last Saturday versus UNC. The short term plan should be to use what he has as creatively as possible to generate wins, all the while transforming his team into his vision.

No creativity is going to allow Miami to beat an elite team like UGA, Bama, Ohio State, or Clemson, and probably not anyone else in the Top 10, maybe even Top 20. The roster isn’t that good, especially with the injuries that keep piling up.

No matter which magic playbook you want to use.

Actually you don't if your goal is more strategic than Y1.

Are you being serious with this comment ? Or trolling ?
lol this. it never works when guys do it that way. I think it was you that brought up the UF example from Urban w leak vs Tebow. he adjusted to what his best QB was at the time. he transitioned once Tebow took over full time.

Month into the season and theres still people not getting it. Remember the D money I repeated the same **** for 50 pages going in circles ? Then a month later we’re seeing what was being asked for.

Oh well. What can you do?
