No Chantz for an extra base hit

In 132 ABs Chantz Mack, our current third spot hitter, has a total of 1 double and 1 triple on the season. That has got to be some kind of record. It's hard to imagine any position player, even the worst hitter, on any level of baseball having only 2 extra base hits in 132 ABs. I mean just by dumb luck you would think a ball would find a gap and roll to the wall a few times out of 132 ABs. More evidence of our offensive futility that we have an exclusive singles hitter batting 3rd.

in all fairness to him he hit 8th most of the year until obrien got hurt and then he started getting clutch hits

he actually has a boatload of walks for a guy who was at the bottom of the order for most of the year

he has no business hitting 3rd
