The No. 2 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class has trimmed his recruitment list and set several visits to his finalists.
CJ Rosser, a 6-foot-10, 200-pound power forward out Orlando, Florida, narrowed down to just seven schools, listing the Miami Hurricanes and Jai Lucas. The other six schools include Kentucky, North Carolina, NC State, Arkansas, Louisville, and USC.
Rosser will visit Miami on September 25-27. He also plans to visit North Carolina (Sept. 11th-13th), NC State (Sept. 16th-18th), Arkansas (Sept. 28th), Kentucky (Oct. 1st), USC (Oct. 4th-6th), and Louisville (Oct. 22nd-23rd).
According to the 247Sports Recruiting Rankings, he is currently viewed as a five-star prospect. The site ranks him as the nation's No. 2 overall prospect, No. 1 power forward, and No. 2 out of the Sunshine State. However, the Rivals website lists him as the No. 1 player in the 2027 class.
During his junior season with Southeastern Prep in Orlando, Florida, he averaged 16.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.6 blocks per outing. Rosser also represented Team USA at the 2026 FIBA U17 Tournament, averaging 16.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.
