N'Kosi

If N'Kosi would have been the starter from day one this season, like he should have been, there would have never been a debate regarding whether or not we should go after Kelly Bryant, nor would there be any questions as to who will be the starting QB next year. There should have never been a QB controversy this year; Richt made it one!

What I hope for is that he keeps taking this role seriously and watches film, studies, gets the mental side of the position. He has all the physical abilities.

I'm not ready to make the same mistake and crowing him after a good game unless he can commit to doing all of it.

He stood in there and took that shot like an NFL guy.

I remember when there were many people on here talking schit about this young man when he got prematurely ejaculated vs ******.

Just imagine how good this kid would be if he had started day one on campus as a true frosh like .bard.kaayak. Even if not as a true frosh. Imagine if he'd been given every meaningful snap practice and game since Jan1 2018.

This kid is the goods.
It’s disgusting Malik took so many snaps during spring and fall, leading all the way up to bc

That's pretty much hindsight. I doubt many fans would've been OK with CMR saying at season's start, "OK, we're developing N'Kosi but we have no chance against LSU and will not be competing for a title this year." As it turns out, that is the case but people felt differently back in August.

Speak for yourself, friend.

Looked good, proved me wrong for this week. Hopefully he'll continue to improve. Would like to see more intermediate routes (10-12 yards) like the ball he completed to Pope and the ball Langham dropped.

Pitt will be a good test.

The kid makes NFL throws and does a pretty good job of feeling the rush, (almost every time he drops back) keeping his eyes downfield and tucking it if he absolutely has to. It's the difference between a running quarterback (Rosier) and a passer who can also run (Perry). If Wiggins and Homer don't drop those two passes, you're looking at an extra 130 yards and 2 touchdowns.

I don't know the behind the scenes issues or if he was struggling in practice but as far as I'm concerned, benching him during the Virginia game killed the entire season. At least Perry gives them a chance to win, go back to Nosier might as well have been a white flag.

I would have been okay losing to Virginia knowing that he gained valuable experience especially how he gathered himself against FSU and threw some dimes.

Things kosi has to improve.

1.Decisions on read option plays
2. Full grasp of whatever offense we have next year. Continue growth on his overall football knowledge.
3. Pocket awarness. Which is hard to teach. Took Jacory 4 years lol.

But as far as physical tools Perry got it. Just got to keep improving on the little things and commit to being great

Great throw right here, he’s growing a little each game imo

Homer seems to get confused on his blocking assignment in this play. Goes to try to pick up one of the blitzing LBs that is surprisingly already being picked up by Gauthier (I think it's Gauthier). This left the other blitzing LB completely free and is the reason Perry gets cracked on this play. Richt and TB please tell me more about how the young RBs shouldn't be playing because of their supposed lack of knowledge in regards to pass protection.

There’s a quote in another thread where mork
Said he’s been coaching for 35 years, and knows what it takes to right the ship... to stay the course.

I just puked on my shoes.
The sad part is that it's a little early to force the AD's hand to get Richt to make some changes though the honeymoon is over. They feel that he didn't have his 5 years to get his coaching scheme a chance to work.

Next year Richt will need to show some drastic improvements to stave off the call for his head!

He can be a very successful college QB and get a look in the NFL. The question is if he has enough skill to get on in spite of Richt's playcalling, get some help from the rest of the offense, or the old dinosaur will play to his strengths with a different playbook or different signal caller. I hope his talent isn't wasted, he's got it, but I guess we'll wait and see.

I disagree. I think going into year 4, after 3 seasons of objective failure, it’s appropriate to insist on changes.
