Basically the advent of NIL has brought us back from the dead.

Without it the $EC is still buying guys for $50k. We have a pro town and a pro-like organization and it's just getting started.

Financials aside, how is Kentucky an upgrade over ASU? I get the $EC thing a little, but I have to think he could’ve gotten similar offers from way better programs, no?
It’s definitely not an upgrade

And anyone willing to play for Stoops as a QB is committing career suicide so I suppose you better get paid (disregard)

Kentucky may be partly paying a suck tax. As long as a player thinks he can individually shine for the NFL at a school, the record doesn't matter so much. Will Stein is the coach there now, so I don't know what that means for the offensive style. If Leavitt gets the right assurances about that, he's probably fine there.
