Wouldn't it be best to ask that question on the scout site?


I know Bakas has a policy of listing anyone as a soft verbal if they are going to take other visits. Im not sure if Patton is taking visits or not, just saying.

Teammate Deltron Hopkins wanted Bethel and Lamar Parker to go on the visit with him. Bethel is still 100% committed to Miami but can see himself playing for Erickson if the coach was still in Miami.
 
You should just get use to seeing this over the course of the next 5 months. Especially when HS season is over. These kids are gonna wanna go on visits to see different places. Cant blame them for that. Im sure they let Golden know that they are 100% committed. Just want to see a few places. And ALOT of these kids want to try and help their fellow teammates out get scholies. So if going with him to Utah can help, why wouldnt he?

Just funny he is going to Utah of all places. Talk about checking things out from the opposite end of the spectrum. Kinda cool I guess.

Buddy coached at Utah for a year. I went up there for a game, went to the bar the night before and was shocked at the quality of tail in Salt Lake.
 
Did a road trip thru Utah a few years back. Honestly one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Landscape there is amazing. But thats it. No reason AT ALL for a Miami kid to want to be there, unless you are underestimated and looking to shine (Alin Eduoard). Not Nigel material. Let the boy travel.
