Nico Ramos is the nephew of @Big O Cane and plays for American Heritage. This is his first year playing Football varsity, so no 247 page yet, but there is an On3 page. No UM offer yet, but Gates are sniffing around and SMU (Lashlee) have offered.

Thanks man. He actually only plays tackle. Thats not him against Lamar. Probably moving full time to LT after Friday’s performance.

His recruitment is about to take off. Got him working with some of the best OL guys down here and going to camps in spring.

He’ll be 330-340 after his first spring in college. A lot of baby fat still
def wont take much. See a lot of 6'6 310lbs 4 stars that are bordering on sloppy and you can tell they wont pan out. Knock kneed. Just bigger than everyone at that age.

The clip of him hitting and getting out of the box is legit. Be interested to hear if he ran the 60 at one of the Perfect Game events or had a 10yd split.

Your nephew plays with a high hat and is leaner / waist bender because he tall and new to football both of which is bad on the line an can be easily taken advantage of by dlinemen with good technique.

A great example was what Christine Wilkerson from Clemson did to UM and then talked about it

Have your nephew take both salsa dance and yoga. The salsa classes will help him improve his foot work & hips, which will help him maintain contact in front of defenders. The yoga will help with his flexibility and mobility, olinemen shouldn't bend at the waist but rather sink down by bending at the knees to have a legs form alignment similar to a Z pattern.

The expression "form a Z with their knees" is a common coaching cue for offensive linemen to teach them proper leverage and knee bend. It emphasizes bending at the knees and hips, not at the waist, to create a powerful and balanced stance.

Angle of the legs, When an offensive lineman bends their knees and sinks their hips, their thighs become roughly parallel to the ground. This creates a "Z" shape when viewed from the side, as the torso runs down to the hips, the thighs run back, and the lower legs run down to the feet.

Coach Mirabal loves his big local guys, who are workers.

He ran a 7.36 at perfect game with a 1.83 split.

He’s working on getting better every day. Technique, leverage, and getting stronger up top are the biggest things he’s working on right now.

7.3 is great for a kid that size.

1.83 is real good too...I mean most college baseball guys with some talent/speed typically fall between 1.55 and 1.65 and they are 6'0 170lb high schoolers.

Upside is clearly very high. Good Luck

Congrats on him. Great frame and future is bright. Did he appear in any of the clips in the OP? If not, who was the guy that was going up against Lamar brown?

It’s him in the HUDL film. The improvement from the first clips to his last game is crazy. As I mentioned, they moved him to LT against STA and he looks like a different player.

Check it out here Nico vs STA

The LG is a guy they call Big Country.. lol
