I haven’t watched the film because my wife had a labor scare last night. False alarm. From my vantage point at the game, what I observed was Virginia Tech making a concerted effort to make our outside corners primary run defenders. We had some trouble with crack replacement, among other issues. But again, I still haven’t watched the film yet. Number 25 is straight up not a tackler.I don’t know if I’m more concerned with the motion and man beaters we can’t seem to defend or the outside zone run scheme that stretches us into Swiss cheese. Guidry will need to come up with something. I know he seems to have expressed - and @WestEndZone explained why - he doesn’t like the 3-3-5, but we might consider a Tite front with Barrow or Clark at Nose. I don’t know, something. Tackling would help, too.
