We need Nick to get on Gameday this weekend and say head to head is the only thing that matters and Miami should be in over ND.

Mario needs to reach out to him and ask him to do us a solid. That’s the kill shot that we need to get in. If we get Saban saying that - the committee will listen.

wouldn't hurt our cause but committee has shown week after week that they don't listen to reason and trust their 80 year old eyes over on-field results

would be nice if the whole crew can chime in to protect sports with the H2H angle.

Saban knows we are a top 5 team and he will say something in our favor. If we were *** he won’t fight for us but he knows we are legit

That will not help us. The committee knew exactly what they were doing by flipping them and ND. They now can flip back after losing to UGA to keep us from being next to ND and they wipe their hands clean of a head to head once again. We beat a ranked team on the road by 5 scores. They went to the wire to a team with no HC who has a losing record and got a bump for it. It’s clear as day. The only hope is UGa murders them but UGA like the rest of the SEC is just not that strong this year. It’ll be like a 21-20 game and they slide them back 1 spot and ND up 1.
 
Anyway this goes, the FACT is The Miami Hurricanes are an indelible part of the college football landscape. No other team garners so much love OR hate from so many. I for one, think that is wonderful about all this. For a bit, I really thought we are never getting back but watching all this “they should” and “ they should not” reminds me…

I mentioned this in another thread but posting here as well considering it’s about Saban. He made a great point a few weeks ago when they were talking about us versus ND and he was asked what should be valued more…“a quality win or a bad loss”.

He basically said that it’s very difficult to maintain a team consistent throughout an entire season, and slip ups unfortunately happen. But to him, quality wins are a better indicator because it shows how good that team is at its best. Which is what the playoffs should be about.

Essentially, it illustrates potential for a team to perform at its best, and you want the absolute best level of competition in the postseason. Why penalize a team for not getting up for a lowly ranked team when the postseason is entirely comprised of teams that the best will most certainly show up for.

He already went on and said that if we made it we'd be the most dangerous team based on talent or whatever. What more do you want him to do? Go on a lobbying trip with Sebastian and Mario to the CFP selection headquarters and stand outside with a sign?

Notre Dame was crowned even before the season started. ND is penciled in before they even play a game.
You see, it's still catholics vs convicts. And convicts always lose to catholics. Not on the field, but in a silly *** committee that should not even exist.
The whole bowl game, conference championships and national titles should be determined the way the NFL does it. Not by some slobs sitting in a room beating off to ND games.
Major changes must happen in regard to the NCAAF post season circle jerk. No more committees. No more humans deciding.
Use an NFL model and forget the long past of incompetence and favoritism.
