Nick saban to texas?

Herman makes the most sense. However, if there was ONE school that would break the bank to get Saban, it would be Texas. I just don't see THAT happening.
 
I get that UT has some nice facilities, fan support, and all...but why would anyone want to go to such a dysfunctional situation?
 
No, Nick Saban, uses possible move to Texas to get raise to stay at Alabama. I wouldn't be surprised to do Fisher do the same at FSU. He'll get a raise either way. Saban, Meyer, or Harbaugh, are about the only guys who could possibly come into Texas, and be successful, without kissing a lot of booster ***, which Strong wouldn't do.

Only place that I think could remotely make Saban leave Bama is when Mike McCarthy gets fired and the Packers job opens up. Though even then, I think Saban stays at Bama for the rest of his career.
 
The money at both jobs will be the same and, in my opinion, BBQ in Texas is overrated and not as good as in Tuscaloosa.

Not that it matters much compared to quality BBQ, but Nick Saban has part ownership of a Mercedes dealership in Bama.

Saban failed as NFL coach plus why he leaves a stable lucrative job to "NFL" which stands for Not For Long" for coaches?

Big deal,someone in Texas could give Satan all of the Mercedes dealership!Texas has oil,Bama not so much.
 
Texas needs to go save Chip Kelly from himself, and do for him what Alabama did for Saban.

Kelly is just the guy to deal with Texas and their boosters.

Herman should take the Baylor job. They'll up his salary, and he'll have more control than he would have at Texas. Plus, he can take his Houston staff with him. To take the Texas job, he'd be leaving Applewhite. But maybe he's ok with that if he believes Gilbert is an upgrade at the OC spot?

Saban and Jimbo should stay put. But if Jimbo does leave, it will be because he believes the landscape in the SEC West is easier than going against Louisville, Clemson, Miami and Florida every season.

supposedly he was a potential NY Giants coach, I read somewhere Bob Arum is friends with Tisch the owner of the Giants and said Saban was interested in the gig for like 10 mil a year. But they gave their word to McAdoo and he was already hired. I call BS on Arum's version, his wife hated FT Lauderdale can you imagine her in NYC??? Now Wisconsin sure, I could see that.
 
Come on now. If Texas offered Saban $10 mil, Bama would counter with $10,000,001. Those mouth breathing inbreds care more about Bama football than their own families. They will not be outbid for Saban's services.
