Miami changed the game in the 80s-2000 but then failed to change as CFB evolved.
the days of playing a 17-14 game are over. Now you have to score 30 just to be an average offense and we are nowhere close to that.

I’ll still take a defensive minded head coach with a good o coordinator. I think at the end of the day who ever stops the other team more wins. Yea these spread offenses put up 40 a game but it’s because they’re running a crazy amount of plays. LSU put up a bunch of points yesterday yet they still punted the ball close to 10 times (not sure the exact number). With the pace we were playing with last year 10 drives on offense seems like a lot but to these spread teams It’s nothing.
