Nick Saban calls out Alabama players for lack of resiliency

That’s all this is.

I hate the guy, but he’s a master psychological strategist, in poor mouthing his own team and getting them to approach the game with a killer mentality.

He’s just trying to avoid overconfidence because they’re such big favorites against Miami

That's what I figured this was too, but reading some comments from Bama fans and he's apparently questioned team leadership and mental toughness a lot more than he normally does for this time of the season.

He’s also trying to get into our team’s head.

Whether or not any of this matters, who knows. Only thing left to do is play balls out and see where the chips fall.

The guy literally has a rolodex of ****head-ish, passive aggressive inspirational things to say about his team in late August, mid-season, and before the Iron Bowl. Manny talks in clichés and uses a lot of buzzwords like almost any coach while Saban has mastered using the media to his advantage. There isn't a single detail this prick glosses over.

Lets hope thats spells good news for us in Game 1 and we can catch them slippin'.

That said, I thank him for "juicing the fight" too as they say in boxing. Lol. Definitely need people to think this will be a great game and not give all the attention to UGA vs Clemson next week leading up to the game.

Nick Saban can eat a ****
Or maybe he can eat this

What is this you might ask? It’s a ***** Flower and yes it’s in my house.

Long story short I was desperate one Valentine’s Day eve and ran into the grocery store to get the wife a plant. She prefers plants that will live longer than the $75 a dozen roses that are dead in a week. It was a nice looking plant in a nice vase. Valentines Day and my *** were saved.

It didn’t have blooms on it at the time and was nearly a year until it did. When it finally bloomed, the wife took a picture of it to show to our hairdresser of 35 years who just happens to be *** and a flower “expert”. Imagine that! He nonchalantly said “Oh yea, that’s a ***** Flower.” She bout fell out of his barber chair.

Anyhoo, it’s definitely a conversation piece and has a permanent place in our dining room.

Is it the end of August already?

He does the same thing every year.

Watch, after playing an uptempo team, he'll complain about player safety.

He'll complain about players being distracted by their 'NFL dreams' during the season and then show up to the draft and make a visible presence.

I hope our guys aren't reading about things like this and thinking BAMA isn't preparing.

Who knows what happens, but out of all the years to play Bama game 1, this is it

I can’t express it strongly enough, if Manny and this Miami program are gonna advance to top 10 status, this HAS to be the year…. Soooo many things in our favor

I sincerely hope we don’t crap the bed

Do yall think he knows exactly how this team will play with so many new pieces? He doesn't. Bunch of new players on offense. It should be telling they brought in 2 new transfers who became starters and leaders immediately. We will see in a few days though.

Supposedly they are not all "bought in" to the Saban way. Not sure exactly what that means but I took it to imply there are some more concerned with their own personal success rather than the team.... That's just from reading their board...

This 💯. People acting like Sabag doesn’t care if Zion is the starter or not…
. He knows, he cares. King, Bolden, 7th year players, Zion, Headley, Avante…. He keeps tabs on all of it.
he knows he’s not playing the same (type of) Miami team that LSU played in the 2018 opener.
He’s having doubts about being able to completely dominate us and it’s bugging him out.

You'll know there's problems if Saban starts to have meltdowns on the sideline early in the game. I wouldn't try to make anything out what he says leading up to the game.

You’re right, but at the same time, I’ve seen him have meltdowns even when they’re doing well. He’s just a ****. Obviously he’s very successful I’m not taking away from that, but that’s just part of who he is.
