2027 Nicholas "Nick" Lennear 4* WR/ATH from Northwestern

@JHallCanes has me second guessing using nicknames in OPs at all now. I added "Nick" to the OP just in case this recruitment starts to go sideways and I need to panic and remove "Nicholas". My cover will be he seems to have switched from preferring being called Nicholas to Nick and the wonderful CIS search turns up no hits if you search for Nick Lennear before the change.

WTF is a premiere HS program doing practicing on this type of field condition? I played at one of the worst HS in California in the late 90’s, & even we had better fields than this, & my school’s neighborhood was in the movie Boyz N The Hood! Like wtf, bro?
****, the coaches should just pool in for a mower and trade off weeks to mow the field. at least prevent some injuries

Welcome to soFla football!
Evokes memories of playing at Northwest Boys clubs, Richmond-Perrine optimist teams with two blades of grass on entire fields.

Miami Northwestern is located in Liberty City. The neighborhood is way worse than whatever took place in boyz n the hood lol

This is inner city south florida we are speaking on here..i actually think we cna count the high schools with their own stadium on one hand in miami dade. This is the same grass Taurean Charles tackled his coach on....the same field Nate Webster and Vern Caey practiced on some of the weeds are likely still growing....they aint got money for turf in liberty city.

Miami Central is no different...

this is why we laugh when the mater dei's and other souped up california teams claim victories were not on the same playing field...LITERALLLY. Pick the worst schools in inner city los angeles and thats the level of mnw and miami central. Like Crenshaw High may be an upgrade to those schools

Yeap. As a kid playing optimist and later HS ball, playing at Ted Hendricks (then known as Milander) was like playing at a Super Bowl venue, at least in North Dade.
And don't get me started on games where we were ordered to keep our helmets on at all times before, during and after games at certain fields, followed by orders to run to the cars immediately after conclusion of games.
I miss those days.

This ain’t a dyck measuring contest of what city is worst or more impoverished; I’m more than familiar w Liberty City, & u have no idea just how familiar. When u get older in life, none of that **** matters, it’s the same ****.

My point is my HS, which was ranked as the one of the worst in the U.S when I was in school, that had a horrible football team wasn’t subjected to this type of field conditions. I don’t give af if this school was located in the heart of the murder capital of the U.S (which it’s not), there’s zero reason why kids playing at a Top 25 program anywhere in the U.S be subjected to this type of potential injury risk. Get a fckin lawn mower.

right...milander may have been the best grass you saw. lol

I remember the first time i went there i was in amazement of the grass.

im way younger than you and it was the same when iw as in high school...remember playing northewast high school in lauderdale and having to stay full padded n them shaking the bus and rocking our bus....and we werent a rival or anything just beat them bad and our safety had kill shots on a ton of players in which he took so they all wanted to fight after the game lol

it wasnt a dyck measuring contest. Because there really is no comparison

it was telling you that your horrible hs or whatever horrible hs out there who ARENT Producing what nw is ....And they have been producing what they have my ENTIRE LIFE .....ON THE SAME EXACT FIELD for practice.

This is the reason South Florida kids have a higher ceiling. My ****** hs didnt even have a strength and conditioning program...lol...We had the #1 DB in america and 2 others go NFL AND COUNTLESS OTHERS DIV 1 OFF THOSE TEAMS and i went div1 never having an s&c whatso ever as an OFFENSIVE LINEMAN.

That field you see there is the NORM in south florida for the most part. That grass likelyw as recently cut as well.

Because of the prowess and cout some of our hs receives for just sending nfl stars out for decades its a misconception just like the univ of miami (its a misconception that um is a state school). MNW is more in line with your terrible/horrible hs than it is with a Bosco,Centenniel, **** even Poly who i thought would be comparable to MNW AND CENTRAL is likely much better. Would it be comparable to Dorsey and Crenshaw im thinking?.

Maybe the lawn mower was stolen?

what it has to do?.

South Florida hs coaches arent paid only 3 on the staff and no one makes more 5k a y ear.....now yall want them to be the groundskeepers as well?. (WHICH THEY DO ANYWAY!!) lol

What you see is the norm THROUGHOUT south florida read what the other posters are telling you then.

@Coach Macho you better bring that lawn mower n weed wacker to practice my boy.

I also stated that field likely was recently cut. You pass by there in the off szn u can see the weeds from the road. Its terrible for playing on right now n im on the same level of u int he thought process of it all. MNW has like 3 former nfl players on staff that i know of im sure they should know how a practice field should look....

Gotta remember tho, Rell, that even though they’re a premier program, it’s located in a Miami parallel of your school’s neighborhood…

thats what iw as trying to tell him the school is more in line with the school he is talking about than a top 25 program like bosco and mater dei. i dont know inner city la other than dorsey and crenshaw...and i dont think Poly is inner city being in long beach.

Northwestern and Central are inline with schools like East St Louis, Oak Cliff (for my texas ppl?)
