Nice Gesture By Miami...

Just as info they use the bucs stadium for home games.
Shhhh. That doesn't fit the narrative. We have to continue to dwell in self-pity and place blame where it rightfully belongs. The address of where the Canes play their home football games.

The Canes never played horribly when they had their "own" facility, just look at the score of the last home game at the OB.

Good seeing a real team using our facilities. What we have is a collection of staff/players who are all looking to further their coaching or playing career, but there is no real team, and it begins with not having a home stadium. Enough already with the home stadium.

Please enlighten us on how a “home stadium” would make the Canes a “real team”

Miami coaches watching USF's roster from the shadows on practice field and jerking off..."oh yeah, that's it, sjow daddy how the ball is thrown and caught..oh yeah...thats what daddy likes..."

Why are we the only ones with stadium issues? Look at Pitt. They had empty stadiums at Heinz Field for decades. Since Kenny Pickett got them winning, they have nice crowds now. Winning fills stadiums. I need winners!!!

Although the USC LA Coliseum 80K seat stadium is on campus, it has often been empty in down seasons. Again, winning attracts fans to games.

If we get a new stadium, then fine, but it's not an excuse. Rather, it is an excuse, but a poor one at that.

We had the week off, no big deal to help someone out. Dolphins let the Bucs use their facilities because they had a thursday night game in Cincy.

Defending your home turf is a foundational building block for any college team. The Orange Bowl tied the entire community together. Hard Rock is a tourist trap and most definitely not ours.

The LA Coliseum is on the USC campus. Heinz Field is across the river from Pitt. We're the only a-holes traveling 40 minutes to play at a very comfortable and hospitable stadium for opponents designed for anything but college football.

USC doesn't seem to have a problem not having their own stadium.

It's funny how schools recruit against us about the stadium, but you don't hear that kind of stuff with USC.

I’m not making excuse because I do t think it matters but the coliseum is literally on USC campus
It is a bit different
And last time I checked the rams play at SoFi

You're 100% correct. My mistake. Because they built it up for the Olympics, I always thought it was a pro stadium not close to campus.

It just looked that way because it's huge and empty when they were bad. So, kind of the same point. Winning fills stadiums, but I get the connection and pride of having your own stadium.

Yup
Winning fills stadiums!!!! That is the key statement
Hard Rock was ROCKING on Sunday for Bills game
It wasn’t two years ago……

These players want fans???? F ing show up and drop 60 on ****** teams and beat some good teams and they will come.

I’m not flying across country to go to game until they are legit (last game for me and my son was ND in 17)

Canes never had their “own” facility. OB was rented too.

I know this. Just making a point about blaming the facility for the teams' woes is a bit much.

The idea that a new facility will automatically fill up with fans is ridiculous as when they were in the OB, I can recall many Temple and Rutgers BE games with 30,000 people in attendance during national title runs. Winning heals everything.

If Ruiz will build a facility and give it to Miami, that's a no-brainer. You do it. However, if he "owns" the stadium, all bets are off. It would be no different than where the Canes are now. Don't fall into the Marlins trap of thinking a new stadium on its own will cure attendance woes.

Field of Dreams was a great movie, but it's not "Build it and they will come" in Miami. It's "Win and they will come".

The amazing stadium the Canes play on has nothing whatsoever to do with the success or failures of the team. The orange bowl was owned by the city of Miami where the university was just a tenant just like they are at hard rock.
