In case anyone cares, Canes lead NFL for most yards from scrimmage in history. Something like 242,000. USC second with 227 or so. UM is third to ND and USC in TDs with 1641.

That is a pretty cool stat. You need good NFL QBs to be high on that list. Southern Miss will get over72,000 just for Brett Favre. We had Vinny (20) and Kelly (9) who accounted for over 80,000 of the 242,000. if you add Kosar (80), they accounted for over 100,005. Miami is the only school with 2 QB in the top 20 all time passing yard. Purdue has 2 QBs with more yards Brees (4) and Everrett (21).

Most of our offensive skill players are getting a little long in the tooth.

Yeah, Gore, Wayne, Hester and Johnson are slowing down. Moss, Winslow and McGahee all appear to be done

Graham and Olsen have to stay healthy and keep it going for the next couple of years.

Miller needs to continue to develop and lock down the starting spot.

Benjamin, Hurns and Hank needs to step up. Not counting on guys like Ford and James.

If we make it through this year with the veterans, I think next year we'll get help from Dorset and Walford, maybe Duke if he leaves.

Reggie Wayne is out for a few games most likely.

Andre Johnson needs a good QB desperately. If he had one, he'd be in the endzone every week.

Wayne - out 1-2 weeks
Miller - banged up knee, will play
Campbell - knee (out 3-4 weeks)
Beason - foot, may be out for year if he get surgery
Shields - Strained patella tendon
Graham - shoulder
