With walton's arrest I wanted to post this article about the misconception that football players get arrested all the time. Although some may argue this is just because the police turn a blind eye toward the bad conduct of football players.

This doesn't surprise me. NFL players on average are better educated and earn more money than the average American. That they get arrested at a lower rate than the average man in that age group should surprise no one.

Doesn't mean a thing to me. It should be lower. These are guys who have jobs and get paid a ton of money. I would expect arrest rate to be lower. Now compare arrest rates of all college grads age 20-39 vs nfl players. That would tell me something.
