They can call pass interference on every play if they strictly interpret the rules. Is there a pass play that the defender doesn't grab or push after the five yards or a WR who doesn't push off to get space. Lets not forget picks. That will destroy half the pass offenses

It's going to be within the existing review protocols so in the first 28 minutes of each half, should be oookkk but the last two minutes, completely agree. Not going to be a good look.

I mean you can call PI on just about every pass play. I don’t get it.

For those complaining about the games being too long,
Look no further than the 4 minute commercial breaks.

Back in the day most games were 3 hours or less, even with the old rule that the clock stayed stopped when a runner ran OB.
Now this is the case only in the final 2 minutes.

What happened? Commercials got longer and there are more of them.

In 2016 the were 1.3 reviews per game at 2:25 per review.
That works out to an average of 3 minutes per game...
About 3/4 the time of 1 commercial break.

Overreaction. Practically any pass play you want over turned you can ask for this review.

True. And just like before, it is all subjective. They technically still only get two challenges a game though unless they get lucky for a third. If anything, it makes the coaches think a lot more about tossing that flag on one hand because they may need it later, but on the other hand, they could just toss the flag randomly hoping for an idiot ref at a very crucial part of the game.

Just get rid of referees at this point. Have'em all in the booth watching on monitors. Zero reason to have them on the field at this point.
