LolFRM now has at least one agent who legit cares about player welfare, which I imagine puts them ahead of 80% of the agencies out there.
Lolkeep telling yourself that. He’ll be blowing up kids phones soon enough, trying to get them to sign a contract and bounce early regardless of it’s in their best interest. That’s the nature of the business. They’re trying to become a player in the NFL and he’s on the clock now too for them. The reality is, produce or GTFO. When it’s your business, you can live by a moral compass. He’s branded now and losing a kid to the more aggressive agent is no longer an option, if he wants to be successful. Maybe he’s a saint and he’ll always do the right thing. I’ll bet against that. We can revisit this post next year.
I've got a booty gif guy who works for beer. Let's hope we don't have a showdown if they try to take him away from me.Congratulations, Austin!
However, this will set a bad precedent, FRM is going to start getting a bunch of unsolicited resumes from CIS posters.
"Hey, do you have an opening for your Director of Booty GIFs?"
"I heard you need someone with a fake-*** schtick so that *** clients feel accepted."
"My qualifications? I am lightning fast with reposting articles and tweets, and I am usually wrong 70-80% of the time."
everyone knows you dislike FRM, and for good reason. but let's give the kid a chance. he's been a straight up, straight talk up guy here and elsewhere.Lolkeep telling yourself that. For what it's worth probably about 90% of my efforts will still be recruiting the Midwest (Big10, MAC, MVFC)
correct, great lunch specialThe other 10% will be managing the Tootsies credit account?
Now I understand. I'll play nice. CongratsI appreciate it guys, excited for a new opportunity!
I already did. Reread my post. However, I’m not exactly sure what he’s earned. You and I might have a different relationship with that word. I’m never comfortable calling anything 100%. He’ll have every opportunity to do the right thing. Respectfully, I probably won’t post anything that I hear that’s negative for the university or the kids. Most everything I keep to myself. Fwiw I don’t have a problem with either of the two Agents. That’s what they both are. They’re not kids or a friends of the program. They’re here for only one purpose. They’re here to sign kids and profit off of their nfl careers. The sooner they sign and go pro, the faster they get paid and avoid losing them to another agent.everyone knows you dislike FRM, and for good reason. but let's give the kid a chance. he's been a straight up, straight talk up guy here and elsewhere.
i am going to give him the benefit of the doubt, he's earned it.
I think @Peter Ariz gets a bad rap on here. He was entertaining at least and gave me **** to read. He had the scoop, but was also wrong a lot. These were the dark days of Canes football.
As far as the FRM stuff goes, it’s important to understand that the agent business is a very competitive one. If any players could secure better NIL deals with another company, I’m sure the market would dictate that. FRM also can’t be held liable for players leaving UM earlier than they should. Kids make dumb decisions sometimes. Id rather they be represented by UM graduates when doing so.
@apfenny3 and @Peter Ariz made business decisions. That’s what adults do. With this whole new era of NIL, we are lucky to have 2 agents as recent UM grads. I wish both of them well. What is good for them is also most likely good for UM football.
That other thread puts this one into perspective now huh lol.Now I understand. I'll play nice. Congrats
