NFL Agent, CIS Alum Austin Pfenninger Joining FRM

Lol 😂 keep telling yourself that. He’ll be blowing up kids phones soon enough, trying to get them to sign a contract and bounce early regardless of it’s in their best interest. That’s the nature of the business. They’re trying to become a player in the NFL and he’s on the clock now too for them. The reality is, produce or GTFO. When it’s your business, you can live by a moral compass. He’s branded now and losing a kid to the more aggressive agent is no longer an option, if he wants to be successful. Maybe he’s a saint and he’ll always do the right thing. I’ll bet against that. We can revisit this post next year.
I've been called cynical more than once, so it's actually pretty surprising I don't agree with you here. Being honest, I'm just basing my disagreement on two things. AP seems like a decent dude who got into this line with good intentions. You may be right that he'll be corrupted, god knows many businesses do that, but I'll hold out hope for now. Second is that we don't know who's talking whom into what. How do you know Pete's out there filling kids' heads with lies? There are plenty of players who convince themselves they'll do fine and go out early regardless of what others say. Put it this way: if you take the advice of an agent who just popped up yesterday over your family, coaches, and NFL itself, did you really get talked into anything? I would argue that you made the decision based on what you wanted to do, not what anyone was telling you. Basically, you're using gaytor logic.

I will have forgotten all this well before next year, but if you remember please do bring it back up. I'm not trying to act superior, I just forget sh*t. But I always stand by what I say or admit I'm wrong. If our guy goes shady, I'll be disappointed but I'll be the first to admit I was wrong.
