Assuming no transfers - We only lose KJ and possibly DJ on offense. We’ll return the entire OL, have a JR Brevin Jordan, and if JT4 is smart, he’ll return along with the rest of the WRs. Cam/Lingard at RB=elite.

On defense, assuming McCloud is back, we should move him to MLB. And IMO we should move Carter to striker and have Bolden/Hall at S. The DLine, we return everyone except for Trevon Hill, if I’m not mistaken. All CBs will be back, assuming Bandy doesn’t leave.

ST I think Price will be serviceable at K. We return Hedley too correct?

Point of this thread is, next year we are fuqqin!! Yesterday’s game I Hope was the turning point for this team/coaching staff. We need to ride this momentum, and win out, including the bowl game. All of our losses this year have been due to youth, and mental mistakes. Next year we should see much less than that.

In JW15 I trust.

Also, don't underestimate Baxa's importance on kickoffs. Remember when we didn't have a kicker that could kick it through the endzone? Yeah, his FGs have suffered this year, but seeing that ball fly through the endzone is a thing of beauty.

Nah DJ just had a kid... and he has 3 years full of tape of being a weapon with STs, RB, WR and QB TDs

kid will he a dynamic weapon who is a Swiss Army knife that can play multiple positions to help an NFL team....
Dugans makes more than enough money to help support his grandchild. Would not be shocked at all if Deejay returns and if I had to bet then my money is on Deejay returning

The OL has already improved great deal since the beginning of the year. Next year with another year of strength training and experience the OL will be stable for years to come. Ready to see Jeremiah Payton in action as well.

It is rare that RBs return for their senior year. I agree that DeeJay has shown that he can do, and has 3 years of tape to display. Probably will be a 5th-7th round pick.

Until this team gets an incredible infusion of elite talent, we're going to be floating right around where we've been floating.

That and the whole coaching thing...but just from a personnel standpoint...Miami needs a lot more elite talent to really compete at the highest level.

I’m sure guys like Brooks and Huff will have their growing pains but I’m very excited to see how they do with significant playing time

said above - too many in here are high off the FSU win...and yeah, I am too...it was a great win.
But slow your roll, this is an extremely poorly coached 5-4 team....talent sure...but not elite talent like the big boys.
Yes we can recruit well enough to be competitive in the Coastal - but is that what ya'll really want?
We are still a long way off from even being close to CFP level. Just facts.

I would love if he came back because he is such a leader and playmaker but i just dont feel good about our chances. Kid BLEEDS ORANGE AND GREEN!!

I agree. We will NOT be at the level of Bama, LSU, OSU etc... but have you seen next years schedule? Our OOC is Temple, Wagner, UAB, and @Michigan State. We don’t have a tough opener to start next year, like we have had the last two years. We start 4-0, 3-1 at worst and would be disappointed.
We get Wake Forest as the crossover game in the Acc Atlantic.
Idk, I know lots of people predicted 11-1 or 10-2 this year, and it didn’t happen, but next year I really don’t look at the schedule , with the talent we have coming back, and another year of developing / weight room, and say yea that’s a 8-4 schedule. Next year is the year we return to the ACCCG, and give Clemson and run for the money.

it doesn’t mean we are playing with the likes of Bama/LSU. But it means we return to getting closer to being elite. And getting back to the playoff discussion.

Deejay just had a kid so I'd be surprised he comes back. Add Thomas as a shocker if he comes back. No other casualties as I think even Perry stays and Martell moves to WR permanently. On D, maybe Garvin decides to test the waters along with Bandy.

Hopefully the team can get hot now after FSU. A chance to finish the season at 8-4, win their bowl game and close out strong potentially 7 in a row wrapping up 9-4. Then you're setting up 2020 nicely especially with a soft non-conference schedule and your toughest conference games at home, UNC and FSU.

Dont get me wrong...I am a fan of DJ....dude does everything on the field but I doubt he goes in the top 5 rounds
