1) Horrible QB situation.

2) Horrible offensive line situation.

Some aspects of this team are good, or even great. When the defense only gives up 16 points on the road you have to win. But when immense talents like Jeff Thomas and Brevin Jordan are almost totally left out of the game because of points 1 & 2 above, well, this is what happens.

It's cool that Miami now owns a 2-game winning streak vs FSU. But the trend of inexplicably losing to Coastal bottom-feeders lives on.

Horrible OC is #1 then QB then OL.
 
This team is all about the turnover chain. When the chain is coming out, the team has a chance of winning. When it's not, all hope is lost.

The biggest thing, though, is that those turnovers have to be converted into points. And that was sorely missing tonight.

The team lives and dies with the chain. We've known this at least since the Pitt game last year and nothing has changed.

The chain did nothing tonight. It's time to move on to another talking point. /mystique

Chain came out three times. Defense gave up 16 points and 7 of those were the direct result of the 50+ yard INT return.
