Would be cool as an alternate. Miami’s classic home and away uniforms shouldn’t be touched

Agree with making it a throwback alternate uniform. Wearing it only sparingly lets it keep its mystique / makes it more special when we do wear them

I like the current uni’s, winning is what creates nostalgia. I also wouldn’t be opposed to having an 01 throwback as an alternate once a year. Just please never wear the camo we wore vs Stanford ever again.

With the right striping and number font these will be so clean. Unfortunately it’s hard to trust Adidas with this.

The one thing I miss about uniforms from back in the day is how the jerseys and pants had this shininess to them. I’m sure there’s some practical reason why they stopped doing it but I thought they looked so much better.

Agree. The uniform is iconic because of the greatness of the 01 team. The 80s and 90s uniforms are better.

The late era Nike designs were an abomination. Especially the 2014 ones with the alternate helmets

nevada also wore that template in 2010. oregon state looked terrible using ancient shadow block numbers on a modern design (which was just as dumb as us using the 2000s numbers on our traditional template).

yeah I'm in favor of the jersey that everybody looks at and say they copied Miami

that's the best part about being a hurricane, everybody copies us and tries to be us

Our jerseys would look 100x better if the stripes were on top of the shoulder vs on the side.

Those Mensah edits with the stripes on top make it look a lot cleaner (ie LSU)
