My recollection is that OJ actually played DT earlier in his career, whether it was in high school growing up on Potrero Hill or later on at San Francisco City College. Whether he was only a DT or did double duty at DT and RB, I don't remember.

Our great RB from the early '70's, Chuck Foreman, reportedly did double duty at DT for Frederick (MD) High.
