New Stadium

****, you guys are brutal. The Orange Bowl is a relic of the past now. With memories to be cherished. That said, those years are over and have been over for a while now. Get over it. It's not coming back, they're not building another stadium. I'll be enjoying the 'Canes resurgence at Hard Rock stadium under a comfortable roof with a cold beer. You guys should come to the games too. It'll be fun!

I like the new stadium but it has no character. College football is about tradition and this place is corporate. I get it but it's not going to be special until we get our own place. Hopefully in due time.

After we beat FSU in front of a full stadium at Hard Rock this year, the Orange Bowl can hopefully be retired forever and the threads about it will go away as well.

How can any Canes fan say such an absurd statement? The OB was the heart and soul of this program for many years. It remains to be seen if the new stadium will be the same for this program. Like the majority of Cane fans I will always cherish the old lady.

The OB was the heart and soul of this program?

I would have thought it was Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Michael Irvin, Cortez Kennedy, Melvin Bratton, Steve Walsh, Gino Torretta, etc etc.

They're too busy whacking off on a chunk of cement that they took from the wreckage of their beloved OB. If they continue pounding thousands of loads onto that little chunk of cement they think they can build their own tiny OB.

Get a life, OB nostalgia whøres. Pretty much the entire fanbase is tired of your būllshīt. Saying that pile of concrete won games is hitting rock bottom. What was it doing in the 50's, 60's, 70's, and early part of the 80's???? Being a loser pile of concrete? It was the players, the hunger, the 305 recruiting, and coaches that resurrected this program. The OB was a mausoleum where spread out fans ate 10 cent Burger Kings.

It was the players and coaches, you dummies.

LOL at "character" in a cement building. You nostalgic gimps make me sick with your overt facquitry. I can picture you crying while fcking the pile of rubble and stroking the chunks of cement after they blew that place up.

LMAO.webp

You do realize this stadium is owned by an NFL corporation...the Miami Dolphins. Every single decision they made was for the Dolphins and future national and world wide events to be held there. Our canes had zero influence on Ross's decision to renovate. We just rent, plain and simple.

That stadium was NOT the heart and soul of the program. The heart and soul of the program was the quality coaching and the amazing kids they brought in.

This stadium almost looks acceptable, finally.

Official bagman of the WEZ

Almost? ****, it looks like the best stadium in college football. This is simply not the same stadium we've seen for the last too many years.

A ***** right! from a player that started 3 yrs in the OB.

Only thing you started was the peep hole at the end of the urinal trough so you could masterbait while staring at everyone elses junk. This isn't a story similar to Caitlyn/Bruce Jenner is it ?You used to play linebacker but now you are a woman selling Avon and now you are mad because the Orange Bowl is gone just like your ******.

Having to play in the same stadium as the Dolphins rubs me the wrong way. But hopefully things will change this year.

Nothing's going to change this year, cucuzza. Dolphins will continue playing there. So pop in some Johnny Gil, and let him rub you the right way.

These nostalgic gimps will never accept Hard Rock Stadium because they've dug their stiletto-covered dainty heels into the sand on this issue. The OB was a dilapidated, outdated hunk of ***** at the end and was located in a neighborhood that was very difficult to reach. We are now playing in a state of the art stadium whose owner just sunk half a billion dollars into so he could host Super Bowls and other world class events and these nostalgic gimps are pining away for a place that was a mess. They tore down Yankee fcking Stadium and replaced it with a new, modern building. Get over it, gimps.

BOOM!! And NEW, Yankee stadium is sweet as ****!!
