New, slimmer numbers on the jerseys in 2025

The numbers don't appear different to you people?

No, & like I said there’s no difference in the material or aesthetics. U can still see the seams distort the numbers.
You're one of the people I was talking about. Agree completely that it's all the same with one exception: I see a larger "hole" inside the zero when comparing Wiley's jersey to the one Powell wore 2024.

Compare Toney's 10 with the one Barrow wore in 2024.

Notice how the number 1 on Toney's is shaped just a little differently than Barrow's

The numbers were a bit too big in 2024. Not enough space between them.

In that Wiley photo it looks like the numbers are longer vertically and not as thicc

The number 3 on Borregales's jersey is shaped slightly differently than Wiley's

Brother, there is nothing different, & choosing a close up photo vs. an afar photo is going to distort the perception. It’s the same material, the same design, & u can still see the seams distorting the numbers.

So let me provide u w the up close photos, u tell us what’s changed:

You’re mostly right but I think they did stretch out the base of the “1” but didn’t do so for other numbers with a base for some odd reason. That’s what it looks like in the video game at least.

So let me explain what “new” means…lol.

That would indicate new material, new template, new color change, etc. If they slightly adjusted the font on “a” #, that wouldn’t constitute “new.”

UL received new uniforms

ASU received new uniforms:

UW received new uniforms:

These are in total re-designs, template changes. There’s nothing “new” about our jerseys.

Nah that’s why I was saying you’re mostly right. I just saw another poor design choice by adidas and wanted to take another dig at them.

They made one number look different than all the others. Why?

Yeah; when I saw the thread “new uniforms”, I was like…Ooooooook?? Lol. Making “a” font change on one number is bushleague. Lol. But, in no way did we receive a new uniform. However, still way better than those older jawns we had. Really interested to see what merch we’ll be provided this time around.

The classic uniforms adidas has given us since 2016 are far better than anything Nike did since the mid 2000s.

Add on that we’re the flagship adidas school and they’ve been a great partner in NIL and there’s no reason to switch

1. We’re not the flagship as was seen by UL’s contract

2. Richt is the one who called for a uniform re-design b/c he thought Adidas’ concepts were awful

3. In what way has their NIL benefited us or any other Adidas branded schools? Who have we gotten that are known Adidas NIL athletes?
