NEW QB transfer on the Market

Man Trevor Lawrence is gonna take that job sooner or later. Kelly Bryant has got to be on point.

I dunno if it was just the fact it was the All Star game and he didn't care or not. I was not impressed with Lawrence at all in that game, had multiple turnovers. Not saying he can't be progress but I don't think he's some guy that has to start right away for them because he's too good to keep off the field.
 
He’s from a town very close to me, he’s a stud and a better passer than Bryant is, guess he didn’t think he’d beat out Lawrence. Could be one of the best in the country in Jeff Brohm’s offense

Hoping this is why Richt is saying Rosier is the starter. So we don't end up with our only experienced QB transferring.
 
Clemson 247 had a fairly lengthy story. Supposedly Dabo told them it would be a "committee of 3" as far as QB went and Johnson said no thanks, been there, done that. According to the story, Lawrence is every bit as advanced at this stage as an EE as Watson was at the same point. He is quietly considered "the guy" for sure. There are still 3 QBs there - Bryant, Lawrence and Brice. Three have transferred out since January. Basically moral of the story is looks like Lawrence may be the starter sooner rather than later....

Taison is verbally committed for next year.

That's a HARD PASS...

Dont need a QB who doesnt know a thing about this team to come in with the belief he could start this season... would send the wrong message the team and is backwards thinking.

Luckliy Coach Richt is smarter than the list of panicky we dont have a QB CIS coRches.

We'll sign him up then if Clemson allows it... which im sure will be a 100% No. I just didnt want it to be an issue this season.

I have a feeling that somebody's going to transfer between Weldon, N'Kosi, and Jarren so a QB transfer like him would be perfect.

I expect that to be the case. Especially if Bryant struggles passing like he did last year. I guess it's kind of the same situation we have here with a short leash. Still not convinced about Lawrence being as polished as they are making him out to be but I don't expect a Clemson writer to say anything different.
