I want the best player. It appears Jarren has possibly had the best camp. Although we don’t see everything and who know what the coaches have seen in film.

However, I can’t see starting Jarren in his 1st game against uf. Not fair to the kid.

I see a scenario where Tate starts due to his mobility. Maybe Jarren gets the start next game.

Either way, I see packages where Tate may enter the game down the road regardless.

Perry transfers.

I’m just guessing.

Of course he wants it. I don’t think manny and Enos want to throw him out there vs uf. One season I wish we had a gimme to open.
 
I think, with our weapons, we need the better passer in. If that passer can't get the job done we will have to go with plan B. In my opinion Williams is the best pure passer, and that's what we need to get the ball to the plethora of weapons we have. We don't need mobile just for the sake of mobile. We need a guy that can find and hit his targets. Preferably in stride.

If I were to bet, I'd say it's Williams, Martell, then Perry.
 
It comes down to who gives us the best chance to win this game. Not throwing a guy into his 1st start against uf.

If it Williams I see Perry transferring and Tate getting packages.

It’s amazing how J dub has been crowned already? Everyone is entitled to their opinions. We’ve seen what, one pass in college from him so far? No one has seen any of the practices. Where does all this confidence come from exactly? Two minute videos of camp and hs film? If he’s the guy, great, let’s ride. If there’s so much confidence and he killed it, I would expect he made this decision so easy on Diaz and Enos that he should be named any moment now. Take a chill pill. Non of y’all know ***** yet. So many J Dub jock sniffers here, LOL
 
Tate won't be starting.

At this point, they are putting in plays that'll be our base offense. They cannot and will not change the entire offense for one week just to try and get one win. If we had a veteran OL, it would be a stretch, but **** no with the inexperience we have there.

Tate may get some action, but this is a two player race right now.

Jarren must be the guy based on the limited feedback. Players know who’s the best guy is, and could fracture the locker room and send a terrible message to the team if you preached “best guys will play” and then you do the opposite.

But if you MUST put a guy out there in the first game because of experience then it should be Perry. At least you can argue for him in a sense, given his talent and given he played a lot last year.

I cannot be Tate. No way. That’s basically Rosier, but with less experience. He is the least talented of the 3, he **** the bed in yesterday’s scrimmage, threw 2 picks, was bad overall, was pushed out of OSU by the coaches because they didn’t think he was good enough to play there, yet you want to put him out there against UF...against live bullets???? No way in ****. That logic don’t make any sense to me
