My thoughts are Diaz will fired next year in 2020 with a chance that it will be another mid- season exit ala Golden in 2015. This guy is beyond awful. He is in way over his head.

However, until something changes with the BOT and the athletic dept leadership, nothing else really matters.

As I see it now, things will continue to get worse at Miami before it gets better. This admin and staff is clueless.

We're not beating Temple game 1 and UAB isn't a given either. Then we gotta travel to Michigan State. He shouldn't survive a 1-3 start but Blake is a cuck so he'll probably let him finish the season.
 
I think everybody knows Diaz will get a year 4. (Forget about a year 3.) Regardless of how much he sucks.

Even if people are pretending not to realize it.

If he doesn't make a killer offensive coordinator hire, he won't last the 2020 season. I don't know when he'll be fired...but that ACC schedule has a murderers row for this team. Got revenge games versus Duke, Georgia Tech, UNC, and Virginia Tech. Two losses in b2b years to any of those teams could be the last straw. Then you got games versus FSU, Virginia, and Pitt...all of which are games that with a loss, could be the last straw. He's walking on egg shells in 2020 and no one can tell me different.

Every game in 2020 is a fvck or walk game, especially once ACC play starts.
 
It'll be sometime in year 3 after the Alabama massacre forces Blake's hand.

Manny set the bar so low this year that 7 wins & an offense ranked higher than last in the nation will look like a huge improvement. ****.. 8 wins may get him an extension.

Too many people have short-term memories to force a change. It's gonna take a televised embarrassment.
I guarantee a lot of the people bashing him now will be praising him for an 8 win season.
This year people acted like we didnt start 0-2 after we crushed Bethune. Then they stopped caring about the struggle against Central Michigan & 28-0 hole againat VT because of the win over Virginia. Then they forgot all about the loss to GT because of the 3 game streak against Pitt, Louisville & FSU. Same **** will happen next year.

A decent OC mixed with our pathetic schedule next year and Manny can easily trip into an 8-9 win season which is more than enough for Blake/BOT to give him a 3rd year an tout "progress". Year 3 we fall back and they have to fire him. Seen this how many times before?
 
why not a poll on what the fan base thinks of President/BOT/ and worthless AD dept
CMD is awful but he is part of a systemic system failure that starts up top with BOT and incompetent AD dept.
if this was a business that was failing and the program is failing for 15+ years you do not fire middle mgmt( HC football coaches) but make changes in SR. mgmt BOT yes AD dept yes.

Depends on his OC pick. He can run a defense. If he cleans house again and picks a co HC OC that hits, could be good next year.

The guy is in SFL and can't recruit fast Miami Caliber CBs.

I wanted the hope of hiring someone who could actually bring something to the table. Rumph can't recruit or coach.

Imagine if Dolphins didn’t have Fitz 😳 at QB would they be trashFlores and wanting his head in first year ?

I also wonder if Manny gets a stud OC and we get back on course with fans still want his head ?

Our once your labeled it’s to late, has anyone here been labeled and never recovered and was watched on every move you made and never given a compliment?

Ok Enos failed us , Manny didn’t Enos failed and he’s fired .

Did we actually think everything would be perfect, through in “ going through the motions “ QB and others Manny had his hands full and through in Blake probably giving Manny some push back behind the scenes.

O and absolutely NO support from his Cane fans example here CIS .

Super tough for a first year HC with Cane family wanting to eat there own young .

JMHO here , Manny will WIN here big time here, look at his recruits impressive.

Let try and give him just a little credit for these awesome recruits coming in and if his OC is right could some say GOOD JOB ?

He’s either on the Taggart career path or the Helton career path.

if he chooses Yost or Lashlee or even Rich Rod, he’s on Helton path. He has to stay on top of defense in that situation.

what he has that Taggart and Helton lack is his defense (if he’s smart enough to take it back over).

if he goes bro style w his OC pick, he’s ****ed bc fans won’t give a **** if we have #1 defense at that point.

Make right OC hire and take defense back. He has a chance at a third season.
