"For those University of Massachusetts basketball fans looking forward to watching NOLA.com's live stream the verbal commitments of DeJon Jarreau and Brison Gresham Monday, here's an important update – the official announcement has been pushed back to 3 p.m. ET.

The event had previously been scheduled for 11 a.m. ET – 10 a.m. in the duo's New Orleans home – but a missed connecting flight on the trip home from this weekend's official visit to UMass means Jarreau and Gresham won't be getting back until Monday morning.

Jarreau, an ESPN100 4-star point guard, and Gresham, a 3-star forward, announced last week that their college choice would come down to either UMass or Miami (FL)."

Lets hope we get these guys

Massachusetts pulled off an enormous recruiting win over programs across the country by pulling McDonogh 35 High School duo Brison Gresham and DeJon Jarreau out of New Orleans.

Head coach Derek Kellogg had recruited Gresham, a 6-8 high motor power forward, for years and then picked up the pursuit of teammate Jarreau, a 6-5 combo guard who has length, athleticism and a high level skill game.

Now UMass holds the No. 18 ranked class in the 2016 247Sports Composite Recruiting Rankings.

Both prospects are ranked as four-stars in the Top247.

Miami was the big loser in this recruitment as a finalist and a heavy favorite in the Crystal Ball.

These two kids picking the wrong UM really turned out to be a blessing in disguise for us. Wasn't really impressed with either one of their highlight tapes to be honest - especially compared to Brown and Huell. Good luck to them, I suppose.
