New OL offeree Ward close to finalizing UM official, talks potential Miami offense

Talk to me about the Skoronski (sp?) or whatever kid? Looks like he's been taught to anchor since birth. Is he going to Bama, Clemson or UGA, too?
Not familiar with him but he is going to northwestern

Stop lying! The boy got turnstiled both in practice and during the game. In the game he was #72 in black, he played most of the 3rd Qtr at right tackle. WARD was completely out classed an exposed by the west dline on almost every play, the same way he was in the east's practice.

His rankings dropped from a 4* to a low 3* he is group of 5 lineman at best.

UM needs to let that ship sail, an look in the portal or other unsigned prep players.

Day 1

Day 2

To be fair the Dlineman win those 1 on 1 reps 9/10 times and they have a huge advantage over Olineman who have played together for a couple days.

Ward is a former 4* from Alabama and he played for a 3 time state champion at the 6A level. Flat out there are better options.

Also go watch the game reply, the other Right Tackles for the East Team held their own quite well against the west dline. There's a reason he only played a few series on the 3rd Quarter.

Watch #72 in black

What better options is out there? We can't just pick and choose who we want

Good lord. Is this a down year for Linemen? Some of those guys look worse than I remember guys from previous years. Some look great, but very few. Where's Myles Murphy going to school? Let me guess: Bama, Clemson or GA? Donell Harris needs steroids, it seems.

In 1 on 1 drills Dlineman have a huge advantage

I don't like this kids slow feet. You can try and work on slow feet but there is a ceiling there. He will always be slow. Why not let Polendy move to OT?

You may be on to someting here. Is Polendy respected as a blocker?

So then how do you explain Ward's turnstile performance in the actual all American game? Watch the game replay his #72 in black playing right tackle, he comes in the 3rd quarter.

Yes we can pick and chose who want, even if it is the lesser of a bad situation. We have 3 spots left for Olinemen in the 2020 class whether they be portal transfers, juco, or prep players. I would UM take the grad transfers from Stanford and Colorado state leaving one spot left a post spring portal transfer or late 2020 prep signee.

This is why enos wasn’t worth his salt as a play caller. Fast pace , quick throws , wider splits and space all help the ol greatly.

The coach is supposed to make things easier for the kids and for scheme to the players strengths.

He sucked.
Facts. And if a **** 17 year old can figure that out..........FML! Glad he's gone.

Good. If we only have two OL spots remaining to give out because of our class caps and needs elsewhere, they need to go to OTs, preferably grad transfers who can play right away. Lashlee and Justice have to see that.
