Doesn't matter how we got them. They are from Cali/West coast and they came. Don't push back the goal posts..These are kids who are from the West coast and came here last cycle and we are in it for two more top players this year.

Nobody is saying hitch the wagon to the West coast but to not even offer is crazy. Again, look at what national programs are coming down to Deerfield and doing. Handing out offers to like 7 of their kids. They know they don't have a shot in **** but doesn't mean you don't make inroads.

If we swing and strike out, what’s the harm? If we land a couple, then it proves effective. You lose every recruiting battle that you don’t offer on because we’re too afraid to be rejected by the kid deciding to stay home.

It’s not like we are focused on only one player for a position and use our resources to go after that one player (aka Johnny boy’s attempt to go after MJJ). Plus, if some of our locals are concerned that their spot may get taken by a highly touted west coast kid, perhaps the local kid steps up instead of dragging us along for the ride. Go get um and bring them to town to see what South Florida looks like!

Exactly. And if you want these top recruits to consider Miami like the other "big boys" , we need to be out at the schools across the country putting offers out to kids like they do. And not as a last minute, last resort. Early. That's been the problem with getting any serious consideration from kids who say they "like" Miami - we have been far behind the rest of the Power 5 conference schools offering them. We need to be among the first to show serious interest.

Honestly, I don’t get some of ya’ll. What do u want us to do as far as recruiting? Obviously our net in the back yard has shrunk due to over saturation of pussification personified by the groupie mentality. So what do u want this new staff recruiting persona to be?
