Coming out of High School this kid had no FBS offers so I am surprised he is prefering to stay at JUCO, he is getting bad advise.

It sounds like he is feeling loyalty to stay the whole 2yrs at NMMI. But I am wondering what is behind the colder shoulder it seems he is giving Miami.

His highlights are interesting i think he needs a red shirt year to fully develop, then he can slide inside or play outside.

Boateng's Sr Yr highlights from HS 2011 in Florida.

I found this on the NMMI facebook page very interesting.

The folks at New Mexico Military are giddy about their prospects in 2013 and have two solid athletes in Terry Ayeni and Edmond Boateng. Ayeni is originally from Canada and at 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds had a solid freshman season when he totaled 19 tackles with three tackles-for-loss and an interception for the Broncos. Ayeni has garnered some attention from Ole Miss during the spring, and his 4.8-speed off the edge looks good on film as he sheds blockers well and has the ability to run down a ball-carrier. Boateng is a Florida preps product that redshirted in 2012 and can leave in December. At 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, he looks like the real thing and has earned some spring interest from Arizona, Memphis, Miami, New Mexico, New Mexico State and Oklahoma State. With an extra year of eligibility he should have a number of takers by the end of the season

Looks like he didn't even play at the Juco in 2012. I guess he wants to play a year there before leaving.

Dont know squat about him but I can tell you he's African, from Ghana precisely.

I do not think he is interested in Miami at all. WAY more excited about being offered by Arizona, and I guess USC is coming on now to. I think it is safe to cross this one off any list if he was on one.

Any game stats on this guy, or is he another one of those mysterious JUCO guys who never plays or has never done anything but rises up the ladder to become the top JUCO recruit at his position?
