New offer: 2014 Dallas, TX DE Trey Carter

I was going to start a thread about this, but I guess this is as good a place as any:

How many offers do we have out there? 50? 100?

Obviously you're not going to get every kid, I'm just interested in how the recruiting game is played.

His video looks good.

I honestly wasn't expecting him to look this good. Kid is a monster, strong as an ox. Also plays multiple positions and moves well for that size. Very impressive.

The Louisiana to Texas transfer looks good and UM can use a little cajun flavor in the 2014 class.

He looks like plan b for Street but anybody who gets an offer at this time is either A. Based off of a staff not confident on another guy or B. He's a **** of a prospect that the staff is late on. I would guess B, this kid looks that good

All for this kid but we are already bringing in a stellar DE class. DT and S is where we need to focus our energy and time

I think he is a potential replacement if McCray flips to LSU. I like way the staff is finding kids everywhere.

Safety is easy, just get 1 good one and we'll be fine. Dt is already one that they're going hard with and this kid will visit in January so this doesn't hurt at all

I don't think so P, they're two different players . McCray is a olb/ hybrid type and this kid looks more like a five technique. I agree with 1 jam, probably a backup to Street.
