Let’s say Manny fires Penos.

Who would we replace him with?

Seriously who’s scheme would you like to see here?

Bedenbaugh. And that's my entire list. I want Oklahomas offense and OL recruiting

like the idea of his OL coaching and recruiting but his play calling experience is a concern. The best offensive coordinators have a feel for games and defenses and adapt in the fly.
Bedenbaugh needs to show that first.

Chad Morris.

Reasons Why:

Available
Familiar with the ACC and recruiting in the area
HC experience, so Manny can give him the O and keep his focus on D.
Something to prove, so he’s motivated.

Reasons Why Not:

Might go back to G5 HC
Too much swagger for Manny
Not interested in S Florida living
Content with his buyout, so. not motivated.

The success rate of the Mike Leach coaching tree is very high. You can wait for him to go call plays at another school, then there will be zero chance of ever landing him after be blows up. He helped design the Oklahoma offense.

Experience is vastly overrated in hiring a coordinator. Dan Enos had a lot of experience as an OC. Mark Richt won two national championships and had 2 Heisman trophy winners as an OC. "Feel for the game" is proven by winning football games. Bedenbaugh has as much chance of having a feel for the game as any other OC.
