new offensive coaching staff

Toya would love Miami. If Vols give Tee a legit offer, he will go there. I haven't spoken with Tee in some time, and I have no real idea if Manuel has spoken with him.

If you speak to him, do you think you could get me his telephone number?

:)

Why’s that? I’ll never understand how people say this without having any context as to why.
The funniest part to it is the geniuses who critique rumph as a failure because he can't recruit regardless of his coaching. Meanwhile tee is a top 5 rectuitsr in the country regardless of position but those same people say they take a hard pass. People here just dont know **** about football...

Looks to me like UM spent 1.5 Million on an OC and now going lite on the position coaches. Im not doubting UM spending more money but I think they are also moving money around to make it look like its more than what it is. Tee would be a homerun hire as a WR coach IMO

Yes he would. But not as OC.

He could come in and learn from Enos.

Lite would be Lamar thomas,Kevin beard, etc. Lite as a rb coach would be telly Lockett (who I would've preferred over this hickson guy)or any other assortment of coaches. What we are doing isn't lite... its **** near not even clearance. Its like were going down to the local home depot and rounding up any body willing to work for the day to pick up coconuts... wr room the jury is still out although the whole cooney rumor and several others has really worried me. I'd love for manny to prove me wrong because I think he could do special stuff here. But some of this staff is a drastic downgrade from what we already had in place.

U keepin it too real bro LMFAO. I gotta see this play out on the field before I comment. I knew when it took so long to fill these spots, I knew something was up.

Since the defensive staff is basically the same, you must think all of some of Enos, Berry and Hickson are downgrades. Why do you think they are downgrades?

Coley was a much better OC than Richt. I'm curious on what Coley will do at Georgia.

I recall when we first hired him that he used to script plays for Jimbo, but Jimbo would handle in game adjustments. This is where Coley still needed some seasoning. He was fine on script but once the defense adjusted he struggled. He has probably learned and gotten better.

Disappointing to hear, but thanks for keeping it real and I agree Hickson and OL coach don't exactly jump off the page at you. That being said, and not meant sarcastically, who would you like? Part of any new hire is you get guys who have some experiences or link. So you need guys who if they are outsiders, could get along with others.

The QB coach is the most important positional coach on the offensive staff. We've spent big on an excellent one. That's investing your money wisely.

Or you could spend $750k on a ******* RB coach.

I think Hickson/Brown is a wash. Yes, I would have liked to have seen Manny hire a recruiting monster at that spot or WRC, but no dice.

As for the names being tossed around out there for WRC, it depends. Stubblefield seems real solid. The Wyatt guy seems solid and so does the UK guy. I dunno - I think we all want a recruiting monster in Tee, Seider, et al, but we most likely don't get those types.

I don't have an issue with Barry - comes with solid pro experience and he's been an OLC for some time. Clearly Enos wants a certain kind of coach to help coach his system - I just hope that Manny is the dictator here and not Enos.

I think the hard pass is for OC, not WRC. At least that's it for me.

If all of our offensive position coaches just end up being retreads that Enos has worked with, that would be seriously disappointing. At this point, we NEED A+ recruiters @ WR coach and TE Coach if we want to beat out the Georgias, Bamas, and FSUs that poach our best talent. Too many solid staffs competing for the same kids in this state to expect our "brand" to speak for itself.
