This win means nothing, it was a practice on the road in front of some hicks. The season actually starts in 2 weeks against GT. I don't think GT is good at all and they will finish likely in the bottom 3 in the Coastal but it is a conference game and relevant.

I love when the announcers said they thought maybe App St came in too fired up...any excuse to cover up the fact that everyone was wrong....very wrong...about the U, App St and Tenn.

So much truth. They were already showing recruiting stats saying well app state is only 3 year FCS removed. Haha it's awesome embrace the hate canes fans. That's how it will always be us against the world. While when Tennessee was struggling it was "app st. Is a very sound and talented team, can't over look them". "App st will beat Miami". Or in the Tennessee game when I think it was Palmer who said they knew it would be a dogfight lol such a joke
 
Face facts: B$ECPN would fellate the Little Sisters of the Poor if they were playing us and lost 150-0. In fact, I'm surprised they haven't b###h## about us playing too many cupcakes to start this season.

Seriously? Even if FSU won the game, our victory would still be insignificant. Why?

We didn't beat anyone of relevance. There should be little to no talk about our win. I assure you, Richt isn't making a big deal about a team that is 1-14 against ranked opponents. It is a nothing win against a non-conference team.

I'd be surprised if he's not making a big deal of it internally.

We went on the road and absolutely manhandled a team that we SHOULD manhandle. He'll be pleased with that and I'm sure he'll let the players know that too.

App state is a decent mid-major. They're a 7-5 sunbelt team. Their interior lines will look better against Sun Belt competition.

"7-5"? They went 11-2 last year and they are better this year.

They will win the Sun Belt and probably not lose again. We are just that good with a real coach

A good friend of mine is fsu staff. I texted him about their team response to the beat down and he said based on the vibe of the team, he expects they will fold this season. Just yesterday the guy said they wouldn't lose a game if the won this one. Schedule doesn't do them any favors, Canes up.

This. And they won their bowl game. It was a step up in competition from the first two games and we handled our business they way we should. Now the real season starts and we see where we really are.

Credit to McElroy who kept repeating the app ST is no slouch, Miami is just playing that well.

If you watched the game the commentators were saying that App State didn't have any kids from ESPN 300 on the team and they were comparing the size of Sunny Odogwu (may be the largest player on the team) to one of App State players. How can the odd makers get this game so Wrong?
