@TheOriginalCane i’m sure you’ve noticed from the media day photos that the #10, #13 and #14 jerseys don’t have the honorary Mira, Torretta, and Testaverde patches. Any word on why that is? I figure it’s due to the pending jersey patch deal but i hope they find a way to continue paying tribute to their legacy at miami. I found this blurb on their website but it’s from a few years ago, “Retired jerseys can be issued to current student-athletes under special circumstances, and Miami Athletics will work collaboratively with the retired jersey honoree and coaching staff in those instances.”

I am HOPING that those were basic jerseys that do not have "all the patches" yet, such as the sponsorship patch and the "retired jersey number" patches.

I guess we'll know for sure in 6 days...

I’m hoping for the same. Only reason i bring it up is that preseason media photos from 2024 and 2025 had the patch already on the jerseys. I remember some of us pointing out the patch on simeon barrow’s jersey and mali’s jersey last year. Maybe another explanation is that Miami received new inventory of game cut jerseys this offseason and they have yet to put the finishing touches on them. It might make sense given that we’ve seen photos of Miami using the green game cut uniforms in practice while the other side of the ball is clearly in white practice unis.

Definitely appreciate the UA version of these jerseys more. Adidas has great photo ops, & again, these look WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than their jerseys just 5-6 yrs ago, but they still lack in execution.

The most you can say about adidas now is they’re “not bad.” Which is sad, but at the very least our unis aren’t ribbed for her pleasure anymore.

Not sure about the thought process behind those designs.
