MEGA New Miami Adidas Ultraboost🔥 - The Shoe and Nike/Adidas Thread.

It doesn’t matter how times this is repeated by unbiased sources, but this is precisely why the vast majority of the fans r complaining.

They are also concerned about the quality of fan gear. We have to remember, UTenn wasn’t too long ago w Adidas. What’s ironic is when they switched to Nike, immediate boost in fan apparel sales; the same was w UCLA.

It was funny seeing UCLA fans on UTenn IG roasting them for going back to Adidas, however. Lol. $$$ is $$$; the ? is, will this help them win, & just knowing hidden languages in their contract, I’m wondering what happens to this deal if they don’t fulfill their end of the bargain.

Its not bad. But, its also not good? It confuses me.... Lol

NCSt fans r equally as confused.

So Adidas is trying to take a page out of Nike’s City Connect concept (which 4 the most part, I’m not a fan of sans a couple of designs). Instead of learning from Nike’s mistake w this concept, they dove head 1st into it.

It looks like they’ve incorporated that old strawberry patch material w/ some slight modifications into this “acorn” pattern. The uniform is, too, busy. I’m w u, it’s not a bad design in some aspects, but it’s also a bad design in others. It’s a rare concept that incorporates minimalist ideas w busy concepts. It’s an enigma of a jersey.

Yeah, those Nike City Connect unis are mostly awful. I like Pittsburgh and that's about it.

Taking a closer look at those NC St. unis I think you hit it. That "acorn" pattern is what keeps me from actually liking them. If it was limited to a lesser area of the jersey or something I think I would like them because it gives off a decent "throwback" look

How long can they continue to provide crap to the fans and still throw $$$ to the programs? At some point, there has to be diminishing rewards.

That was part of the reason UTenn left the 1st go-round. They took less $$ for better product placement w/ the ability to sell more merchandise & have access to more fan gear.

If u look at what Adidas promised UTenn, it wasn’t just the $$, but they also promised to feature NIL players in their commercials, give the fans more apparel, give them a higher royalty, & more $$. Well, that’s the same promise that’s been made. I posted in a private chat that Adidas have been making the NIL promise since 2021. The guy who’s made the pitch for Adidas has literally been there for almost 30 yrs now.

There solution to everything is just pay more $$, & I’ve yet to see this strategy work for either party long term.
