Do you think TAMU stays with adidas? Maybe adidas pays up to keep them since losing Miami? Or do you think TAMU jumps ship?

From what I understand TAMU haven’t been, too, pleased w Adidas in recent yrs.

1. They were given Miss St’s shipment which ****ed off the equipment mgr as it also exposed it was the same merch w just a different school logo

2. TAMU has been one of if not Adidas’ biggest merchandise sellers in FBS, yet they’ve felt undermined by the offer given to them vs UTenn.

3. TAMU has an exclusive Nike contract for T&F & from I heard the track folks get more gear than the football & basketball folks.

Hence, y I said I’m keeping my eye on them especially when Adidas trying to go all out to flip Ole Miss. So it’ll be interesting; it’ll also be interesting to see what Va Tech will do. Alumni r pushing Nike, fans r pushing Nike, but the new AD has worked w Adidas b4 at FAU.

Fun times. I remember when TAMU flipped to Adidas b/c of their inferiority complex of UT, now it seems like they’re feeling that same complex w fellow SEC mates w Adidas.

The playoff game with them last year was a visual folly. Pants twisted and baggy, jerseys constantly exposing shoulder pads. Our cinematic recap would of been 10x prettier if not for that disgusting uniform display

Mine just came in. Still in stock at ****s. (Photo looks different on the website for some reason but it’s the one in the photo you posted, I was nervous because ****s shows it with no side piping and a more translucent logo)

It’s nice, everything is stitched, even the adidas sleeve logo which I figured wouldn’t be. It runs big for sure, I got a large and I’m usually between a L/XL in adidas but this is definitely on the bigger side.

I think the actual problem is Fanatics. They make most of the gear, produce slop, and just print the adidas logo on it. The 2001 collection is quality because Adidas was intimately involved - well planned and executed drop across all channels.

I imagine Nike dropping a billion on Miami, they will try to protect the product. We’ll see.

Nice! I ordered it from the Miami Team Store as soon as I saw it….still waiting on delivery
 
So question on Nike shoes, I have been using Brooks, ON and Saucony “Hurricanes”.
I used Nike shoes a long time ago but they were more narrow than others. I see that they have Nike Vomero running shoe they do for some of their teams and I’d imagine we’ll get our own.
Question is - do they offer wide versions of it? Or is the base model wide enough?

I’m considering trying to give their shoes another shot.

Just got a call from the team store that the ONE GOD**** THING I wanted and have been looking for for months (the white track jacket) they oversold and won’t be able to ship. God. *******. Dammit.

That happened to @TheOriginalCane yrs ago for some shoes. It showed they were available, paid for it, but then received an email that they were sold out.

That sucks, broski. Hopefully u didn’t overpay by, too, much.
