This is a big win for Brooks marketing but I have to give all credit to Josh. It pretty unprecedented how much of his own money he puts into his craft. He’s personally paying for a team and it’s not like he’s making millions. I’d be surprised if he makes more than $500k a year.

And not that it matters but for the record, these were custom made shoes with the only Brooks part being the upper. He would never race in these shoes. And Brooks’ top runners, Josh and Emily Enfield are not obligated to wear or race in Brooks shoes nor train with Brooks. Emily wears disguised stock Nike Dragonflys. Josh has also mostly raced in Nike Dragonflys and trains in Albuquerque, not Seattle with the rest of Brooks.

The last Olympics I was definitely rooting for Cole Hocker, the American, and he upset Josh to win gold. But I really want to see Josh win Olympic gold. 2028 is probably his last chance.

I have probably over 100 hats, a lot of different brands. Most of them are just fine. I look very dumb in a big crown hat so I don’t like those. ‘47 is probably my favorite. Branded Bills are nice, especially for going to the pool as they are very water friendly. And as a proud Nike propagandist I actually golf in generic Adidas hats. The only newish hat I can complain about are the new Mitchell and Ness. I feel like they changed a lot recently and now they don’t fit my head like they used to.

I only have the five-panel and performance hat, so I can't speak on the trucker hats. The ventilation on both of those is great

I’m not either. But unless youre trying to get something basic or for golf/baseball im not buying from Nike/Adidas either.

All my hats are usually 47… but I like strap backs (not snapbacks)
 
since undergoing the chia pet theory in hair (i.e. hair transplant), i stopped wearing hats unless im out in the sun the entire day

fwiw, hats aren't great for your hair

47 is my preferred brand. most comfortable fitting hat, simple designs
