Are these going to be sold to the general public? I don’t think those IG posters actually know for sure.

Yes. May be sold via the physical stores (in Miami) and the website. Nobody knows the quantities available.

There is a store in Atlanta (a ma maniere) that has special collabs, but I've also seen them sold on the Nike website.

Same with the Undefeated stores (mostly in California). I just scored the Undefeated Jordan 4 that was dropped in-store, on the Undefeated website, AND on the Nike SNKRS app.

Just depends on how many they make and where the offer them.

Quite the selling point for a shoe being sold at the UM Bookstore. To students.

Ugly ******* shoe.
Maybe you haven’t heard, but there’s this thing called the internet. You can purchase things from the UM Bookstore and never set foot in the physical location. Bet you they will be shipping those shoes all over the place.

By the way, those shoes are available on Fanatics, and the Adidas App. I'm quite sure places like Caneswear and AllCanes will have them as well. In other words, places where us old farts can easily get them. I don't know if you haven't noticed, there's a big time retro movement in regards to footwear, don't be shocked if those shoes are popular with sorority girls...

Hypebeasts will get the bulk of them, I’ve seen this play out far too often. Solefly is famous for backdooring stuff, and other shenanigans. Don’t be shocked if you end up on StockX getting ripped off.

Not going to pay 350+, 400+, or probably much more for them. They can play that game for suckers, many of whom probably can’t afford them anyway. I’ll stick with the Forums or the other pairs of Adidas for the games

Does Michael Jordan have final say on what schools get Jordan brand? Would he let another ACC school besides Carolina have Jordan??

Everyone is going to be different and for me personally Nike is far superior in the activities I use them for - Basketball, Dunking, Lifting, Sprinting, Field Jumps, and ya know, casual fashion. And I would say for Basketball and Dunking sessions the only brands that can even sniff Nike are Jordan ( I consider it different than Nike), New Balance, Li-ning, and Anta. But I'm also a slim guard who has a narrow foot.

But it is as simple as everyone is going to be different. For me, the Ja 2 is the greatest basketball shoe ever made but a lot of people hate it. The Harden and AEs had either lacing or heel slippage issues for me and they were a hard no pretty fast. But the GT Cut, Sabrina 2, KD 14, Kobe 5 and many Lebrons are just so far superior to anything Adidas made on the court.

I also find Li-ning's Gamma, WOW, 808s, JB2s, and Son of Flash far superior to anything Adidas. The Son of Flash is the only shoe I use playing outdoors. The issue with Li-ning is the sizing and not being able to try them on in a store before buying. Anta's Kai 1 and 2 are also far superior to Adidas. And again the issue with these is being able to trty them on

This would truly be one of history's great "full circle" tales.

Wouldn’t it?! lol. In more than one way, too. Adidas’ current CEO is the former CEO of Puma. IMHO, this would be no different than Adidas merging w Reebok. Their value is more of a liability, but it would help Adidas corner the international futbol market, though.

I really don't think the youth are as attached to Nike as my peers were when we were coming up. There are so many brands that have emerged that frankly put out better footwear products than Nike today and the youth are very versatile in what appeals to them. I honestly think Nike has recently stepped their quality up because their running sneakers in the recent past were of poor quality in my experience. I have recently bought the Vomero 18 sneakers and they seem to be a better product than those from the recent past.

Furthermore, if Nike isn't willing to make a similar financial investment in Miami sports as Adidas will likely make by all means don't turn down the money. The athletes will come around especially if the money is good.
