Our “fans” love to whine. It’s evergreen. Our fans barely watch the stuff produced as is, but you want more. Mario couldn’t care less about this crap and it shows.
in the end, winning makes the biggest diff. if the team is good and FUN (which they are so far in both cases), fans will follow. personally, I just wish they were more aggressive early on in the summer and right before the first game to increase interest. the ticket promos theyre running now shows the Ath Dept fudged big time and it backfired. winning and continuing to win will make up for it though.I’ve touched in this before the tamu game.
But no one is following g canes social media like that.
These cut ups are usually for the die hards.
If anything the sites like onlyindade will likely do more for canes attendance than the team will.
If they keep posting W’s and highlights expect the crowd to grow.
Same goes for local news and ESPN. Once the hype starts rolling it won’t stop.
Mario might not care but some of this stuff does matter to an extent and Mario isnt working on this stuff. they have a team of people who do all these things. fan engagement is important and helps draw fans to your product ahead of time. either way, to each their own.Our “fans” love to whine. I want no coverage, videos, pics or fluff pieces.
