New head coach at Dwyer former Cane Al Shipman

Now that i think about it i think, with the emergence of Lacross and the influx of northerners Football isn't as big here in the the last at least 5 years.

I went to my nephews flag football game in a new sports complex they built in gardens and i would say 80% of the fields were being used for lacrosse. Also noticed it in Jupiter too.
Places like Jupiter never had talent though...

Palm Beach Gardens always been formidable though.

Its interesting..i think more Palm beach posters need to chime in... @canepb @561Cane @561caneforever

There’s definitely talent up in that area, Palm Beach County has talent in the high schools, and the surrounding counties have talent too, it’s just a question of where they go to high school

Dwyer has historically had parts of Jupiter in their boundaries. Most of Dwyer's boundaries are gated communities, part of Singer Island and a strip of Riviera Beach. If I'm not mistaken, Suncoast High is actually inside Dwyer's boundaries.

Dwyers predominated talent from what I can lightly remember was the Riviera beach area.

I think Riviera has 2 high schools now ,plus their talent heads to all kind of other schools.

It's interesting dynamic which I wanted to know..because we pretty much know the broward county dynamic and what goes on in dade with talent shifts and schools obtaining talent.

I played for Jack Daniels his first-year coaching Varsity and graduated in 1999. Rashard Butler was a sophomore on our team when i was a senior. Most of our top talent did come from Rivera Beach. I still speak to Jack ever couple weeks.

Palm Beach County talent has been down the last few years. There’s been a ton of coaching instability every year and a good amount of the more talented kids end up leaving the county to play elsewhere…..
